Sheraton Vistana

Has anyone stayed at the Sheraton Vistana???? WHat is it like? Is it close to disneyworld? Is there a free shuttle bus?????

We stayed there about 6 years ago - condo timeshares with a nice pool, at Lake Buena Vista area. We liked it, although we now prefer a rental home.

We have stayed their and its very nice, but can be hit or miss. We were not in the newer buildings we were in one of the originals. They were in very bad shape. We could write our names in the dust on everything. Nothing worked, the water in the bath, the air, the dish washer. They sent us a fruit basket and moved us to the next building. Now the grounds were beautiful and the pools were great. It's right down the street from the Disney gates so it's a great location. We also toured the facility and the new buildings are amazing. Our best friends have a timeshare their and love it. However, like I said, we just called and rented a condo and they stuck us in their oldest buildings. So if you go with them be sure to request one of their newest buildings and you should be fine. For about the same cost, if not cheaper, you should check out Widsor Hill Resort. Also right next to Disney and is a newer Resort with independent owners so you get a more at home feeling with 3 bedrooms.
