Sheraton Vistana Resort (May 6-12)

Sorry I posted in the wrong forum originally... I'm new here, but have been surfing through these pages a lot the past week or so. We're going to be staying at the Vistana from May 6-12th. I did the diamond lane checkin and am hoping that we get a good room. I have a 6 (almost 7) y/o daughter and a 4 y/o son and I'll be bringing my boyfriend with his 12 y/o daughter. We're thinking of going to SeaWorld a day or 2 (if we get the free 2nd day thing). We'd like to go to one of the beaches, downtown disney, and anywhere else that might be fun. Anyone else going to be there during that time?

We have stayed at Vistana countless times and have always loved it ~ my parents first bought time share there in 1990. You may get a lot of feedback about the older units but we just stayed in the "Spas" section and it was great! We were within walking distance to 4 pools! My DS10 is disabled and it was so nice to have some options for him ~ swimming is awesome therapy for him. The "old folks" pool was the warmest and it is located next to the Activities Center. The fun pool was the one south of it (can't remember the name) but my DD7 loved it best because of the water slide. You will have a great time no matter what section your are in ~ let us know how you make out.

I would deffinatly reccomend you plan some time at the resort. Vistana has SO much to offer. We actually go to less and less parks each time we go down because we enjoy spending time at Vistana so much. They have 7 different pools and all are fun for different reasons so we check most of them out. They have SO many activities planned. When you check in you will get a calendar for the week with the activities. They have kids activities going on almost all day and night. They also have activities for families and adults. They have mini golf right on site and a couple really nice playgrounds. There are a few arcades and play rooms also. They have so much to offer so deffinatly plan time to hang out!

My sister and I will be there the 6th through the 12th too, with My dd 9 and my twin niece and nephew age 6. Hope we both get good rooms!
