We have a trip scheduled in may and we could get the deal for 237.00 plus tax (timeshare thingy), plus 4 TICKETS FOR 25 (APIECE) FOR DISNEY, OR 4-2DAY PASSES FOR UNIVERSAL AT 70. These seem nice, but I wonder if anyone else has stayed here under a timeshare offer..The last time I did timeshare was in '94 at Westgate..so thanks for the help! <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

I had this same question a while back. If you go over to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board, do a search on the Sheraton Vistana Resort--a lot will pop up--by the way, all of it is positive!

My DH and I spent our Honeymoon there this past November. It wasn't owned by Sheraton yet and I'm not sure what changes (if any) might have occured.

It was wonderful, sort of a beige-tropical decor in the rooms, and a short drive to everything. I can see how it would be comfortable for 4 people. And there is a Publix a few miles down the street where the "Locals" do their shopping.

There's a large refrigerator, kitchenette, dishwasher, and washing machine in every room. Two televisions and two phones on either end.

Most, I think, have screened-in balconies/patios. Every morning, we would sit out there and drink coffee and read our Disney Guides in preparation for each new day. (Can you tell we had a good time?)

There are several restarants over there and one of them has a breakfast buffet that is not only inexpensive, but that actually let you take home what you didn't eat (since they bring everything to your table). We made the mistake of trying the buffet on our last day... There was NO way to take all that with us.

If you decide to stay there, talk to the employees at the restaurants and the poolside bar. They are locals and are a WEALTH of information.

So... Yes! I think you're getting a good deal!
I hope you guys have a great time!!
:D
