Does anyone have experience at this hotel? Want to give me the good,bad, and ugly?

Any comments on the "shuttle service?"

Any suggestions for how/where to get a good price on a room?

My family enjoys the Sheraton Safari. Comfy beds, free parking, nice pool. Close to disney.

We stayed on points.

We didn't use the Shuttle Service

About 2 years ago I stayed at the Sheraton through priceline and it was GREAT!!!! It was a good location (we didn't use the shuttle).

We stayed there last year a couple of times and really liked it. We did use the shuttle twice to DTD and it was fine but you definitely want to sign up for your time early and be at the stop ready to go ahead of time. We didn't take the shuttle to the parks but I'm sure it would be fine but limited on the times. It is a great location, the pool is great and the bar has very good happy hour prices on both drinks and food in the evenings. We found the staff to be very pleasant.

I am an SPG member and earn pts on MC purchases. We have stayed here 3 times as a split stay with an onsite. I had great experiences. I LOVE the pool there. My kids loved it too. The beds are comfy. The suites is nice and roomy. Shuttle is fine. It also picks up at The Staybridge suites and the one across the road. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. (Olive garden right beside.) A 7-11 across the street for snacks, pop etc.
They have a schedule they follow for the shuttle. It goes to the different parks. If you want to take it to Downtown Disney you need to call and reserve from what I remember. I don't mind walking to Downtown Disney from there. It is not too bad of a walk. IF you buy too much to carry on the walk just take a cab back.
This is not a luxury or fancy Sheraton by any means, but it is a nice clean and convenient place for families. We will definitely return. Enjoy your stay.

We were there last December and were very pleased. I needed to rely on the shuttle and had some concerns as my daughter has a disability. I could not have been more pleased. They were there on schedule and the busses were clean and the drivers were very nice.

I had only one problem the first time we went. We went to AK and the woman who was driving( the only time that we had her) told us to hop off and catch the bus at the TTC. I said no, that she was supposed to take us. After that there were no more issues.

Just plan around the schedules, which isn't hard to do at all, and have a good time.

PS. This was the first time for us to stay off site, and the first time to do the shuttle. We have always stayed on site and in many cases waited longer for a much more crowded bus. Just have fun!!
