Got this through priceline for a couple extra nights on our trip this coming up week. Got a good rate, $43.00 a night, just curious what people here think of the place. :)

Hello :wave2: I'm sure you will hear from others who have stayed here more recently but we stayed here twice in 2003. We really liked the place. They have a great pool with a Cobra snake shaped waterslide that the kids loved! There is also a kiddie pool and a outdoor jacuzzi. The location is great with lots of restaurants nearby-Olive Garden is right across the street and there is a breakfast place (Sizzler I think it was) next door. They have a small gift shop where you can buy all sorts of things from T-shirts to candy. They also have an onsite restaurant which was reasonably priced. We ordered sandwiches to bring back to our room several times and they were really good for the money!
The rooms were clean, we stayed in a regular room not a suite. The room itself was not what I would call big but was comfortable for us and our 3 year old son. Ours had two beds and a vanity with sink outside of the bathroom. The bathroom itself was really small.
The location is very close to the parks and when I stayed there they offered free shuttle buses to and from the parks.

Truth be told we developed a fondness for the place. It is nothing fancy but the decor is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We would not hesitate to stay there again! Have fun!

We stayed there for 1 night about 6 yrs. ago and liked it. In fact we returned for another 1 night stay a few years later. And that rate is great! Have fun.

21 days and counting! :grouphug:

hi, we have stayed here twice, last time in dec04, it is a lovely friendly hotel and very clean, we have just booked to go back again in oct 05,the hotel had just finished a renovation when we where there last, so it was fresh and clean, hope this helps susie2

That is an excellent rate! You will like it. We stayed there for one night this trip-the first night in. The theme is great-the room is beautifully decorated, pool great, etc. However, in our room, there was plaster fallin from the ceiling in a small area above the ajoining doorway, and the wallpaper was peeling in a big section in the middle of the room. It should have been fixed. But in no way ruined our time. I did report it, but was not complaining. Loved everything besides that bit of neglect. (Sheraton is usually much better about things like that.) I would absolutely stay again-especially with that rate! ;)

We stayed in 2004. We got the room through priceline too for $37 a night. We had 2 rooms. They were not in the same buildings, but the resort isn't that large so it was okay. I found the hotel to be very, very comfortable and clean. I think it has been one of the nicest front desk staffs I have ever encountered.

The only thing that stuck out was the pool had an awful lot of natural debris in it. Like twigs and leaves. Also, it was really cold water. The air was in the upper 70's and the water couldn't of been more than 68-69. It was too cold to enjoy.

However, for the price, we really enjoyed our room and location. I would love to get this hotel again on priceline for under $50 a night.

Thanks for the responses. It sounds like overall this hotel has been a good one for people. I checked tripadvisor too and reviews there were mostly positive as well. :)

We stayed here for 1 night this past April. That is a great rate. We paid AAA rate of $99.00. The room was clean and in good condition. I thought the room was large. If I stayed off-property, I would stay here again.

We are Starwood gold members and have stayed in a preferred room with lots of amenities. Paid $66 using the Starwood guarantee. Although we prefer offsite, we always stay offsite for a few extra days at the beginning of the trip to be able to afford to stay longer! The hotel is very nice and the location is really close to DD.
