how far of a walk is it? We are catching a DCL Shuttle from Disneyland Hotel so we need to get there with two bags and a carry on

Its quite a way, you might have to go left onto Ball and walk down to Disney Way as you probably will not want to drag your bags through the Security Check at the Hub. I just google earthed it for you and it will be just over a mile.

over a mile isn't really bad we walk a lot so that seems like a short walk, I just wanted to make sure that there was a way to walk there

I would take a cab. It is about a mile and would not cost very much. BTW, you will love the Sheraton Park, it is very nice for an off site hotel.
