We are booked at the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort for our upcoming trip to DISNEYLAND! I read good reviews on Tripadvisor but wanted to get the DISer's reviews! Please let me know how your experience was at this hotel. Thanks:thumbsup2

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Park Hotel and loved it. The rooms are nice and spacious. We were able to get a Disneyland view room, which was great because we were able to watch the fireworks once from our balcony. Just to let you know, there are two different balconies: one with two chairs and a table and the other one has just literally enough room for maybe two people to stand on the balcony. Upon check-in, we asked if there were any Disneyland view rooms available and we just got lucky.

I usually stay at the Sheraton Anaheim on Ball. Even though the hotel you chose is called 'Sheraton Park', I think it is actually a bit further away. The Anaheim Sheraton is the hotel that looks a little like the Bavarian Castle near Disneyland. They have their own shuttle that runs every half hour. I don't think Sheraton Park has a shuttle, and it is quite far to walk. If you're using star points, you might want to check into the amenities at both, and choose which would work best for your family. The Disneyland rooms at the Sheraton Park do sound great. Not sure what Anaheim Sheraton offers for fireworks views, since I'm usually at the park watching the fireworks.

The Sheraton Anaheim does charge $10 per night / per car. Not sure what the Sheraton Park charges.

Thanks! I actually called yesterday to request a room with a Disneyland view but was told I have to call back a few days before. It won't be guaranteed but is a possibility:)

Thanks! I'll have to look into this. I know that parking is $14 per night which I feel is ridiculous!:scared1: I feel that parking should be free:confused3

You are correct. Sheraton Park does not have a shuttle, but they may participate in the ART transit system (which you have to pay for). We did not find the walk to be too far; it was about a 15 minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland/California Adventure.

The views from the Anaheim Sheraton ar enot great, although you can stand in front o fthe htoel to see them. But you will certainly be able to hear them as the hotel is very close to where they set them off at the back of the Park. When we ride Soarin' we also try to glimpse the hotel during the DL firewords scene. not sure you can really make it out (although you can clearly see the car repair sign across the highway). -- Suzanne

We are staying at the Sheraton Park, Anaheim.
We also think that the car parking should be free. :sad2:

Sheraton Park Hotel is located at Harbor & Catella Blvds...its located on the back-sde of DCA...it is walkable to Disneyland...it is the hotel I stay at whenever I visit DL...if you get the 'park view' rooms at this resort you will see the new section of DCA being built (before it was the TIMON parking lot I believe)...this is a great hotel with great services...you get a great view of the fireworks at night, really cool...I highly recommend this resort for your DL trips...

Thank you for your input! I feel even more excited about staying there now:thumbsup2

We stayed at the Sheraton Park hotel in Aug and loved it. The rooms were very nice, we had a view of the fireworks and loved the pool/spa area.
The ART picks up just to the right of the hotel turnaround. I believe it's the first pick up/first drop off on that route, very convenient.

I plan on staying there anytime we need to supplement our DVC onsite stays with a few offsite nights.

Thanks for the info!! I was wondering where the ART pick-up was. Not that I will use it much I prefer to walk instead of wait but you never know, our feet might just give out in the evenings!:lmao:

Don't even bother with ART...I say its a good 2 blocks from the hotel to the DL entrance walkway...I'm sure in the morning you won't notice the length walking to the parks, but at night when your walking back to the hotel you might feel it more...but what's another 2 blocks after you've been walking miles at the parks!!!...Did you say if this is your 1st visit to DL?
