Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort - good? Transportation to WDW?

I read some nice reviews of the rooms, the pool, and the resort.

Starwood resort off site.
4,000 Starwood points per night

Now for our question - Where are their buses at the WDW Parks ?
How is their transportation to WDW?
Does it run only once per hour?

Should we rent a car ?
But we do not know the roads in WDW around Lake Buena Vista.

Hotel has recently been remodeled and is very nice.

They do charge for parking.

I didn't take their transport so no help there, but generally the offsite drops you off in the parking lot! Disney doesn't give them the primo spots up front, but some space in a parking lot So at MK for example you get dropped off near the Transportation Center and then take either the monorail or boat to the MK.

It doesn't run hourly. Link below gives you the current schedule for the bus

Generally if you are staying offsite you want to think about renting a car It is an EASY drive from there to the parks. The hotel will be happy to give you the "back road" details, but the Lake Buena Vista entrance to the DTD area is very close and once on property Disney has LOTS and LOTS of signs to help you find their parks
