THe DD's did call today
just a few minutes ago

they are having a WONDERFUL time
and the week is going by too fast

DD10 is in the talent show doing gymnastics

DD13 won some contest where you have to blow uncooked scrambled egg through a straw....she was quite proud of it

they are not getting much sleep (they can sleep at home, mom)
but they are busy all day long and it is GREAT!

I stopped at the GoodWill store today
and found a great picture FRAME for the picture of my grandparents farm
that Gram gave me last time I was up
it is one of those aerial views of their homestead


the frame has this yukky pic of a deer in it
DH saw it
and was very

"you paid five bucks for this picture"
the frame is a large wood one, grooved and stained
It would have cost 30 at least at Michaels craft store

I only wanted the frame, not the deer pic
DH now understands

It was my fault I worked today. I signed in on the system this morning to see if anyone needed me..... I had a few things to take care of and one thing led to another. Next thing I knew I put in an 8 hour day

I'm on salary so it's fine..... I will save the day for another time. I'm going to be off in a couple of weeks to hang out with my St Louis friends.
