I did not know that you could book ahead of time. During our second day at SeaWorld, June 8th, we decided we would try the restaurant. We went to the reservation desk (right outside the restaurant) right at 10:00 and had no problem getting a 12:30 lunch reservation.
I was actually very please with the food. Here are some pictures:
Some type of herb bread, with dipping oil with coarse salt and pepper:
Dh and I each ordered a salad ($5 each)
Citrus Caesar Salad:
Spinach Salad
Then, we split the Chicken and Shrimp BBQ - delicious ($23 I think). The chicken breast was partially deboned. Also, I like my veggies with some crunch to them, but these were just a little TOO undercooked:
The kids each ordered a meal (we knew dh would eat their leftovers). Each came with a gummy shark.
Pasta ordered with sauce on the side:
Hot dog:
Chicken fingers (shaped like sharks, of course):
All in all, a very good meal. The waitress had no problem at all with us sharing a meal. She brought out plain crackers for my daughter who did not like the herb bread. She offered to fill up our refillable mug with Pepsi before we left the restaurant (we declined, but thought it was nice that she offered - not sure if she would have charged us the $1.49 for the refill).
It was so nice to get in out of the heat. Every seat is good, because the restaurant seating is terraced. I think there were some tables, but mostly there were nice big booths where you pretty much all faced the shark tank (you know, with one entire side of the booth open). I tried to take pictures of the shark tank, but they didn't come out.
