I just wanted to share some cool news with you all. As I'm getting ready for my family's first Disneyland trip together, I started looking through some old photos to show my kids of my first trip to Disneyland in 85' and found my Donald Duck autograph book from 1989! It was so exciting because I was 9 then (27 now!) and I was able to show my boys (ages 5, 4, almost 3, and 1 1/2 yr old who didn't really care too much except for saying "ooh" a few times!) all of the signatures I was able to get. The cool thing is that I told the boys they could use the book for our upcoming trip to Disneyland and get signatures of their very own. They're all excited to use Mami's book! I'm so happy I found it, and get to pass it on to them! Do any of you have a story where you got to pass something from Disneyland down to your children, or even shared photos of your trip(s) there as a kid?

I have pictures from the late 1960's of me and my brothers at Disneyland I have shared with my kids. I am 42 I have very long history with Disneyland.

DD(5) found my old Minnie Mouse ceramic figurine in a box of stuff. The figurine is easily 30+ years old so it hardly looks like the modern Minnie. DD thinks it's amazing and has kept it next to her bed for months. I also have a light from the old Main Street ELP - parade was dismantled for years before it was reincarnated as Disney's ELP in DCA. Both kids think it's pretty cool to have a light. Now if it only played the songs! Of course, they love looking at my old pictures and postcards.
