It worked for the first night. I got it back.

What is weird, I saw it was open, I grabbed it. Dashboard still showed waitlist, so I didn't touch anything. Talk to MS. She said it was matched but not confirmed. So does that mean there were two rooms open that same night?

Yes, it means two rooms opened up for that night.

This is why sometimes we think we got a room before the waitlist did. We have a match but not processed and another shows up.

It has happened to me a lot when I had something I liked better show up that wasn’t my waitlist, took that instead and canceled the waitlist, only to then see my first choice there…it was because I had the match.

Now if we could get the whole second week at BCV. Right now we have 3 nights 1 bedroom at BWV and 4 nights 1 bedroom BCV. So same area , not that big of a deal, but would be so nice not to have to move with groceries .

Pixie dust holders......tap that bottle a little more please. Sometimes it sticks in the corners .

I was booking BWV for the first week of December. Standard studios were out as they were gone, so I booked a BW view. Nice, right?

Then I got to change a couple of nights to standard. Split stay, no worries!

Time moves on, I'm still checking, most rooms are gone.

Then I return home from my February 2024 trip. Now this was with family and we were all over the place. Me at BCV and Swan. Them at Swan, then we all moved offsite.

In March I had another impromptu trip booked over Easter which included a LOT (for me) of points. Grand Flo and Concierge 1 bed AKL.

Meanwhile it's time to book for Feb 2025. Points are there for the most part but I keep wanting more days, and then I decide to book a 2 bedroom for a week, BW view and I have to borrow. To ease this I go back to Dec 24's trip and cancel some nights and set up waitlists for standard nights. I book OKW, a 10 point studio. I end up borrowing anyway, even though the point was to move the extra 5 points per night to Feb. I'm not going through every painful detail here, but I think you get most of my picture.

Somehow I ended up with BWV, OKW, BWV in a line and then 2 nights at the new cabins. Prior to BWV I jumped in and made a 5 night visit to HH for TG and family will be there with me and will return to Md afterwards.

For the record this is a 5 way split stay, starting at HH. I want to bring it down to 3 splits by getting rid of the OKW night and replacing it with a BWV night. Now, I'm willing to take any room view or size for that night so long as it's at BW.

Waitlists are in. And this is a two week driving trip starting in Maryland, moving to South Carolina, moving to Florida and then back to Maryland. Last week of Nov and first week of Dec. Changes are still possible.

Ah, come to think of it I trained in accounting in my younger days for a couple of years but moved on to other things.

I'm always juggling my contracts and usually eventually get something I want. However we are getting closer and closer to December.

I'm looking forward to checking out the new cabins and will make the best of it.

In my continuing saga of "how many room changes can I make", we got one more day at BCV today. We have two more waitlist set up. Only downside is it's a Saturday. But hoping we can add one more night to either BLT or BCV and not spend any time at BWV. Nothing against BWV, just less moves the better.

It worked, I now have BLT and BCV.

But moment of panic in the mail today. Over the last 4 ish months, I've changed rooms at least 8 times. At one time, we had BLT, VWL (not sure what's it's called),SSR, RIV, BWV, and BCV. Today I got 2 pieces of snail mail, Welcome home, one was for BWV . Odd that I got nothing with all changes, just the last ones. I quickly checked online to make sure I still had BLT/BCV.
