Sharing rental cars/shuttles, Is there a thread for that?

I was looking into getting from the airport to my hotel and realized I would be better off if I shared a rental van or town car with another couple or small family than if I used Mears or a rental car just for us. Is there a forum or thread for airport to hotel transportation ride shares?

We're three folks getting there on Oct 1, and looking to make everything cheaper by sharing rental fees. Is this a bad idea?
