Hi all! I'm taking a group of Girl Scouts next year and they are interested in unique foods from places in the world showcase, but they are afraid they won't like it.

Can we go there and split meals on the dining plan? For example, we have a total of 12 "adults" going, so could we use 6 table service credits for the 12 of us to try out Marrakesh? This way I was hoping everyone could get to try the food, but then if they didn't like it, we will have counter service and snacks to fill up (and the extra 6 table service credits).

I know you can't split for buffets, but was specifically wondering about splitting credits between two people for the non-buffet restaurants.

Thanks for your help in advance!! :goodvibes

As long as all 12 are on the Dining Plan, theoretically you could do as you propose, though it would be appropriate to double the gratuity (36%) in such a case.

Along the same line...if DH and I go to Cinderella's breakfast in the castle, can one of us pay cash and the other use 2 credits from the dining plan? If so, that'd be great and we'd still have 2 credits left for a regular "table service" meal somewhere else...

Yes, you can have the bill split and one bill "paid" with Dining Plan credits while the other paid with cash. (Be aware that, both this year and next, the "paid with cash" bill will be subject to an 18% gratuity automatic applied.)
