Bare with me as I muddle thru my FIRST pre-trip report. I'm done the planning, changing of ADRs, itineraries...I'm at a loss of what to do now...THEREFORE...the pre-trip report and want to share my excitement with people who actually get it...DD is excited, but DH, doesn't get why I'm spending so much time on the planning and stuff....quite honestly, it's a little get away from the real stress of everyday life!

The Cast:

Me: Turning 44 while on our trip, loved Disney, well for as long as I remember, being a little girl watching Tink sprinkle her pixie dust on the castle every Sunday evening at 6pm. Saying, I'm going to go there one day... I've finally made it a couple of times, and we're going for our third "Disney Trip" We've gone several years in a row now, (since Mom moved to Florida, which is great when we are visiting, but sucks when I miss her the rest of the time!) I always do either "just Disney" or "non-Disney". Just the way I guess you get the biggest bang for your buck.

DH: 51, going on 16...he's quite a card, always keeping us laughing. All around great guy, but not quite "sold" on the Disney thing. This will be his official first week at Disney, my previous Disney trips were just with DD and he just came for one day, as he was doing what he loved over in Daytona at Bike week!!

DD: 15, sweet girl, couldn't ask for a better daughter. Of course, we all think we have angels, but I must say, I certainly think that. Sadly, she's just been diagnosed with Celiac's disease, which is a double edged sword for us, we're glad to know she actually has something and it's treatable, however the treatment SUCKS! She's doing extremely well with it so far, and it's been trying times getting organized of having a Gluten Free Kitchen. She's very excited for our trip, and I guess it couldn't come at a better time for her.

When:
Friday, Feb 19th -Feb 26th, then another week with Mom & Sis in the Fort Pierce and West Palm Beach Area. Most likely we'll spend one day in Daytona for Bike Week...He's such a fan of biking, but you'd never know by looking at DH that he's a biker...so cute.

Where:
I search, and search, the WDW site, over and over again, finding the best deal, the best date, the best resort to go, and WOW, got in on the buy 4, get 3 free deal. This was exciting for me, as we were going to stay at a value, which I loved Pop Century, but this way we got a Moderate, for basically the same price.

We also took MYW plus hopper and water, and splurged for the DDP.

Finally, someone told me about the Disboards, thank Goodness!! It's been great planning ever since. Honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do with my time, once my trip is over...really, I'm spending way to much time on this:rotfl:but I think it will "pay off" when we're at the parks. I have planned the week, and planned the day. I got into the TGM site and found that very valuable information too.

So far...here's the plan
Arrive Feb 19th, around 2pm (hopefully, EVER year we have flight delays, so pls :worship: that it doesn't happen this year!) Scheduled for ME to go to CBR. checkin, and relax check out the resort is the plan.

Then it's off to DTD, conquer Disney Quest (DD loved it last time, didn't have enough time there though) and we have ADR for Planet Hollywood. Back to resort for an early morning.

Day 2, RD AK, hoping to get it all done there, we do love AK, but don't think we'll need a second day. We have ADR for Chef Mickey for dinner and then we'll sneak into MK for a little peek around, nothing much planned for that evening, but can stay late, as we're sleeping in the next morning!!

Day 3, My Birthday!! What a great B'day present! Depending on weather, we're going to Typhoon Lagoon for the morning and early afternoon, or Epcot, or maybe finding a shuttle to the outlet malls :yay:
Then we have FDP at Mama Melrose for 3:20, then Fantasmic. Last time we saw it, it was standing room only, and I didn't realize we had to be there waiting before it started, so that's why we did the FDP, I wanted a good seat, it is my b'day afterall:thumbsup2 back to CBR right after, another RD next day!

Day 4, Epcot Day. Last visit we didn't spend much time at Epcot, so this trip, we're there quite a bit more. I finally got a Le Cellier ADR, but it's for lunch, would have preferred evening, but you take what you can get with this place I'm told, hope it's worth it. I have the day planned around the ADR, so we even get a little break after lunch, and back to the park for evening and a KP mission:cool2:

Day 5, MK day. I know, I know, waiting so long to go there, but we are going on day 2, but only at nite. Quite honestly, it's our least favorite park...not sure why, but we just prefer the others. Have another character dining here at Crystal Palace and hoping to fit in Spectro too and Wishes of course!

Day 6, HS day, another early morning. Try to get the best of the best, have it planned that way, just hope all this planning will pay off, and be worth my time and effort. We love, love, love RnRc, was a little disappointed at ToT, but will do again! Going to try the TSM that everyone is so hyped about. Indy is a must see for me, guess I'm just a Harrison Ford fan :woohoo:

Back to Epcot for Coral Reef. (we had to pick Gluten Free restaurants, or those that catered to this, normally you plan ADRs around the parks, but I planned parks around the ADRs, DD health is number 1) See Illuminations here or tomorrow nite, or both!

Day 7, our last day, it's a Whatever day...sleep in for sure, finish up what park we want to do a redo on. Might be another Typhoon Lagoon day, depends on the weather.
Have ADR at Epcot at Teppen Edo, another DD choice, looks very cool. She's always, since grade 4 and read Hannah's suitcase, wanted to visit Japan, so of course this restaurant was a must do! Hopefully we'll get in a couple more KP missions.

Day 8, check out...so sad, but on to the "non-Disney" part of our trip. It's Mom's Birthday, so we're off to rent a car, a bit of Orlando shopping and down to Mom's for total relaxation! Will have Beach days, a couple of days with little sis and her family.

Back to Canada March 6th...blah! back to this cold, cold, cold place we call home!

Also was lucky enough to have a Fairy God Mother, (it's in the mail, can't wait for DD reaction, she doesn't have a clue) and I'm happily being a FGM for a couple of other families, to share the magic!Well, thanks for listening, and I'll update a Trip report with Pictures upon return.

Was lucky enough to get in on a Photoshare, so am very excited about that.

See you on the boards:hippie:
