This question has probably been asked a milliion times on here, but I was wondering if you are allowed to share meals when you're on the DDP? My mom is joining us for a portion of our trip. We are on the DxDDP and she will not be on the DxDDP. If we went to, say, the California Grill, would it be permissible for her to share my entree if she ordered her own appetizer? Or is sharing forbidden? I would think they wouldn't allow it, as you would be sort of gaming the system to some extent, just not sure.

Yes, except for: buffets, all you can eat family style restaurants, fixed price restaurants (Akershus and CRT), dinner shows, the Whispering Canyon Cafe skillet entree, and (reportedly) Beaches & Cream.

However, if your mother is not on the DDP you may not use your DDP credits to provide meals for her. This seems likely to include bringing her along and she doesn't order anything and just eats half of your meal. If she bought an appetizer and drink I don't think anyone would care if she ate some of your entree.

We have shared many meals while on the DDP. We enjoy ordering appetizers and then sharing an entree and dessert. It is always plenty of food we are not as stuffed as if we each ordered our own entree.
