Sharing Meals on dining plan?

We will only be spending 1 day at HS but after reading the reviews I would like to try and do both the 50's diner and the sci-fi. Lots of reviews mention the portion sizes at 50's as being large and that the deserts are awesome. If my dd and I (she's a Disney adult) split a meal and desert would that only count as 1 ts credit? If we are doing both restaurants in the same day I can't see us both needing two full meals.

You can share meals at both locations. We have shared many a TS meal in the past. It's a good idea, especially if it's hot and you don't want to eat too much. Just let your server know you are sharing the meal and then if you want to order an appetizer, additional beverage, dessert, etc. your server will give you one bill using a credit and one for OOP. Enjoy!

So, can we share at any TS ADR we have? This will make things even more awesome. I don't think my mum will eat a full meal (she is 83). And we are happy to share between the 5 of us. We just got FD . Yay.

You can share at most TS restaurants where you order from a menu. Via Napoli is very strict and will not let you use one credit to feed two people. Also, they will not let you combine credits to order a larger pizza; you can only order the individual pizzas on the dining plan.

You cannot share and everyone will be charged at buffets, all you care to eat family style restaurants, CRT, Akershus, the 3 dinner shows (Hoop De Doo, Spirit of Aloha luau, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue), Fantasmic! and Candlelight Processional Dining Packages and the platter at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Pizza planet is a QS location so they will only take your credits based on how many meals you order.

You'll be able to share at any of the CS places so Pizza Planet won't be a problem. Likewise you can share at Coral Reef. I think you can share at Marrakesh. If not it would have been mentioned on some of the previous "can you share" threads. One more note about Marrakesh, it also offers prix fixe feasts, but there's an upcharge of about $5-$7 when using dining credits.
