We will not be on the Dining Plan. My 3 girls will be considered adults by Disney standards - 13, 11, and 10.

I know I will have to pay adult prices for the buffets but...

We like to do dinner at a TS or Signature restaurants. I know I could order off the children's menu and will for my 10 year old. However, my 13 & 11 year old like the adult menu itmes at several of our choices.

I was wondering about them sharing a dinner and each ordering a dessert at places like Jiko (filet and mac 'n cheese), Narcoossee's (filet) or California Grill (splitting a flatbread and chicken entree)?

Is this acceptable? Are the filet's at these restaurants big enough to split?

Any other suggestions on maximizing our dining options while knowing that the 3 of them will not consume enough food to warrent paying full prices every night for adult dining?

I don't mind paying for them but I really don't like to waste food and I know that bringing it back to the room isn't an option because it still most likely won't get eaten.

Thanks.

Le Cellier had no problem with us splitting a NY strip last summer (not on DP).

DW and DD split something at Narcoosse's as well (again, not DP).

I wouldn't think you would have a problem with the girls splitting a meal.
Not sure if the ones you ask are big enough, but I would think so.

Splitting entrees will not be a problem at any TS or signature restaurants and it is a great way to save money and avoid wasting food.
