Sharing DxDP question. Will this work?

Hi,

Leaving next week for a trip with my bff and her family. Our family consists of myself, DH, and DD3. Her family consists of BFF, her husband, her DS5 and her infant.

Our family is DVC, doing a split stay on-site. They are staying off-site. I added my bff to our DVC reservation so they can come visit freely.

So here’s my question. We want to do QSDP for 1st half of stay and DxDP for 2nd half of stay. We have four pp on each DVC reservation: me, DH, DD3 and BFF. We plan to share meals (and cost) between both families. For the QS portion, my understanding is that the meals are pooled. As such, if BFF pays for her family’s meals with her magic band and I pay for our meals in a separate line, we should be able to get two adult meals each. Am I missing something?

Also, for the DxDP portion of the trip, we have some ayce meals planned but mostly table service/signature. Will we have any problems sharing credits and/or ordering adult meals? For example, I don’t see us ordering more than three or four “full” DxDP apps/entrees/desserts per meal. Will this be ok? Would they require us to get a kids meal because the children are present at the meal? Would we be limited to ordering 3 alcoholic beverages since only 3 adults are on DxDP and 1 child is on DxDP? Or would all four adults be allowed to order one alcoholic beverage each because credits are not distinguished? Not quite sure how that works.

No need for separate lines. She could use her husband's band, or just say, "cash/(credit, room charge..." ).

No.

NO.

I believe DxDP credits are still pooled. You should be able to get as many adult beverages as entrees.

So if she wanted to use her mb to purchase two adult meals on the qsdp and I wanted to purchase two adult meals on the qsdp as well, we wouldn’t have to stand in separate lines? Yes you can put them all on one band. No reason to do separate lines.
