Sharing at Signature Restaurants?

Has anyone done this? I know that the signature restaurants (i.e., California Grill) use 2 TS credits per person. We are planning on dining at CG during our trip in October. If it would be enough food to share (not sure what CG's portions are like), we would like to order only 2 meals for the 4 of us (me, DH, DS-13, DD-10) to share and only use 4 credits as opposed to 8. If its not enough to share, I would be fine with ordering 4 meals and using 8 credits (not trying to abuse the system - after all, its free food to begin with!). Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

IMHO CG portions are single sized, even when eating a appetizer, entree & desset I am full but not stuffed. CG also has some of the most "snobby" waiters of any disney restaurant- Not meaning the are unfriendly really just kind of aloof- I for one wouldn't feel comfortable sharing here, again just my opinion.

You might use the plan for 2 dinners and then pay for 2 extra entrées sharing the appetizers and desserts.

I'm just not into sharing in general. I guess I can understand with kids who don't eat alot...but I think at a place like CG adults should have their own meal. I've never eaten there, but places that are more upscale tend to have really good food with smaller portion sizes.

Personally, I'd feel uncomfortable asking to share a meal at a sig restaurant.

Lewisc - I thihk that's a great idea. We won't waste food and we'll use only 4 credits - thanks!
