Hi All,

First of all, great forum, been reading it for a while and now I’ve dived in!
I have some questions about the shareholders club, ive done a bit of searching but as the information is scattered about, I thought id open this thread;

1- Me and my partner have been going to DLP for the last two years and going again in January – if your in the shareholders club, do you get money off of the hotels as well? Do you think it would be worth it?
2- Do you get money off of the Disney stores worldwide?
3- Do you get discounts in Disney USA/Hong Kong?
4- How many shares do you need (is it 200?)
5- Anyone know the best and easiest share site to buy French shares from the UK?

You will find there all information regarding discounts on hotels and stores, including your questions:

1. Yes, 10% discount.
2. No, not worldwide. 10% discount in the Disney Stores Europe.
3. No.
4. 500 shares minimum. For less than 2000 shares, there is a fee of 30 € for a 2-year membership. For 2000 shares and more, the 2-year membership is free.
5. Sorry, I can't help you here.

For your information, the price of a share is actually about 0.09-0.10 € (nominal 0.01 €).

It is well worth buying the shares and joining the Shareholder's club.

It is amazing how much money you can save even on one trip.

I think that most people in the UK buy their shares from Selftrade.
