Shareholder meeting and hotel offer?

Hi all
Has any of you ever been to some of the shareholder meetings? There is one on the 12th of Feb and I just recieved a mail with an offer on hotel rates. It turns out that these days would be perfect for a small trip for us, so I was wondering if we can book this wothout going to the meeting. Are there any rules for this?? Or if we have to attend the meeting, how long would it take? Is it interesting at all for normal Disney fans?

I'm looking at the same deal. The wording certainly makes it sound like we wouldn't have to attend the meeting.

Check Expedia, the Cheyenne is only £39 that week so you could book and not worry about attending

I don't usually worry with the shareholder meetings as they're all in French and I'm not fluent - though I don't think you have to attend though if you take advantage of the offer. I think the one that nearly tempted me was a fab deal on the sequoia, but I still found it cheaper on the net....check the rates first, they all turn up on there

I'm thinking of going to the AGM if I can take time off work this year, and I just priced up the Santa Fe on E Bookers which is showing at £37 per night for that week.

You will need to show your Shareholders card when you check into the hotel if you booked via the AGM offer.

Best to register for the meeting, as you get a nice little goody bag when you go in and they do a bit of a show with the characters at the start of the AGM. Once the boring bit starts you can always leave, it's being held in CinéMagique in the Walt Disney Studios Park this year, so very easy to make a quick exit into the park if you want to.

I also got the offer and thought 50% off at the Sequoia is a great deal but I didn't know it was cheaper on Expedia. The USA site does't come in very cheap at all.

We let our passes expire and I don't think we are going to be going back for a bit. I want our family to see the rest of Europe.
