OK...I'll be blunt. Can't afford to eat at ALL the really nice places people speak highly about. Has anyone ever shared a meal at a really nice place? Was it uncomfortable? Did they object? Would you pass along which restaurant you did this at? Thanks.

I would check at the Restaurant and Budget boards. I bet someone there has an answer.

Our family did this... my Sister and BIL shared every evening meal that was not a buffet or family style affair.

Restaurants: California Grill, Artist's Point, SCI FI Diner, Spoodles.

No embarassment whatsoever!

ME and DH do it all teh time at Disney since we can never each order a whole meal and eat the whole thing. We usually split and appetizer, meal and dessert. At Flying Fish we have even gone so far as to jsut order one dessert only and share ti between the tow of us and it is NEVER a problem. Most of the time it is also brought out on two plates!!!!!
Enjoy!!!

DH and I shared a meal at the Sci-Fi too. We each order a salad, and a choc. malt but could not eat a whole meal. So the waiter asked the chef to split the entree. It was great! Just the right portion! :D Now we plan on doing that often! :p
