There are so many rewards programs out there that it can be confusing. Some have rapid earnings if you really apply yourself to them and others are passive earners but slow. If you have a lot of time and the patience to do a combination of them, you can make a really big dent in the cost of your vacation.
Offhand, I can list a handful:
Perk - a variety of apps which run advertisements using smart devices. If you have a large number of old smart phones, iPads, iPod touches, etc. and a good internet connection, you can do quite well. Pays in GCs, PayPal or Perk Plastic (their own reloadable credit card).
Swagbucks - there's a long and very active thread on the Budget Board on how to maximize your earnings thru sign ups, shopping, running the apps on smart devices and watching videos on your computer, and answering surveys. Pays in GCs and PayPal.
EarnHoney - a passive program that pays for watching video ads on your computer and also has an app for doing the same. Can be a slow earner but they pay in
Amazon GCs or PayPal and you can redeem for as little as $5. If you have an older computer or laptop, you can run it in addition to the other programs.
Shopkicks - app for your smart phone. Earn "kicks" for walking into select stores and for scanning specific products. Earn more for making purchases in store and online. Limited number of kicks available daily for "visiting" select online stores and opening ads. Redeem for eGCs.
Checkpoints - similar to Shopkicks. Points for "checking in" at local merchants and for doing scans of products. Can also earn by answering surveys and watching videos. Can be a slow earner. Redeem for eGCs.
iBotta - shopping app. Earn by purchasing select products at specific stores. Get extra for completing bonuses and when your "team" earns as well. Also rewards for online shopping. Redeem for PayPal when you have $20 or more in rebates.
Checkout51 - similar to iBotta without the online shopping. Redeem for PayPal.
SavingStar - enter your loyalty card number or upload your receipts. Purchase select items and get rebated. Mostly grocery items and usually includes a healthy item for the week. Redeem for PayPal, direct deposit to bank account or UPromise account or GCs.
Kellogg's Family Rewards - passive earner but can be slow. Add your loyalty card and get rewarded when you purchase Kellogg's products. Redeem for GCs or coupons. I get Starbucks and use the GCs at Disney.
Fetch Rewards - upload receipts and earn points for qualifying purchases. Redeem for eGCs
Receipt Pal - similar to Fetch. Redeem for eGCs
Receipt Hog - Similar to Fetch and Receipt Pal. Rewards in Amazon, PayPal or magazines.
