Share your AKL stnandard AP discount for this Spring

Wanting to see if I might be able to afford AKL with an AP discount in June,
9 - 14.

Could you tell me what rates you are getting now for a standarad room, just so I have a ball park figure.

Is June usually higher than April prices?

We have a room at AKL for March 28-April 1st. This is peak season, so I think you could get a better deal in June. We are paying around $175 for a Pool View---I think standard view was around $10 less than that. Again, though, I think you'll do better in June.

We're also at AKL March 30 - April 3rd though (maybe I'll run into you buckeye!) and have a standard savannah view booked. We're paying $199 (not including tax) a night. June is considered Regular season, Value season doesn't kick in until July 5th. So, while you won't be able to get the $109 per night(usual AP discount during value season) for a standard view room at AKL during that time, I'd expect it to be somewhere around $130 per night for that time period.If you want a view, go up about $20 per night for pool view and another $30 for Savannah view.

I was just quoted $222 a night (tax included) for March 29-April 2nd. Quite a bit better than the rack rate I was quoted at $414 a night! Was hoping for something in the $189 - $199 rate, but at this late date, I think I should probably consider myself lucky......or does anyone think I'll get anything better? I'm still torn as to whether I want to pay that much....I've heard a lot of good things about Coronado Springs and actually would prefer to be closer to Epcot. Wondering what my chances will be for an AP with Coronado Springs? I've got a question in to DU on that....

I used AP to book AKL for two nites (March 25 & 26) for a total of $379 (tax included) -- pool view.
