Great idea! I had never thought of that. We are trying to incorporate a few Scottish touches as well, but Craig's not all that up on Scottish wedding traditions. Any ideas?

We had homemade tablet in our favours....I know favours aren't Scottish but tooth rotting tablet DEFINATELY is. I can't think of any Scottish wedding traditions but if I do I'll let you know. What about incorporating some music by The Bay City Rollers....eh, maybe not

I tried to talk DF into wearing a kilt for our wedding. He's a quarter Irish and I'm a quarter Welsh. But he said "No", he definitely wanted his bits and pieces more covered! I think it's cute though!

I am losing my mind about my dress!!! I ordered it back in October and was willing to pay rush to ensure that it was here on time. I was told, "Don't worry, you don't need to...it'll be here." Okay fine. I keep checking online and it says that it should be here mid-February. No call. Now, to me mid-Feb would be around Valentine's Day. I called today to see what was up and the girl said she'd check and call me back. She did and told me that it wasn't there, so she'd checked with the vendor. Apparently, the factory that makes the dress in China was closed for two or three weeks for New Years and they got a "little" behind and my dress won't be here for a few weeks yet!!!!! I do not have a few weeks! After looking at Nikki's ticker today, I know that I have two months and one week! The dress is definitely going to need to be altered and they also told me not to order my hoop until it gets in so I can get the right size one. I arrive in WDW on April 30th, and my parents are leaving a few days before that to drive this monster of a dress down there. GRRRRR!!!!! I'm super annoyed. My mom is going to go yell at them on Saturday (and they reeeeeaaaalllly don't want her to do that...she's mean when she needs to be).

But, when I look at pics of my dress, it makes me a little happier cause I love it so much.

Actually, the boys will probably be covered as they usually are in rental kilts!

I still have to get jewelery to go with this monster. I want sparkle, but not quite as much as the lovely model is wearing. With the tiara, I don't want it to be toooooo much. I am looking for a little drop pendant and little drop earrings...maybe in aquamarine or sapphire. I am in love with these ones, however, are a little out of my price range. I've been begging Mom and Dad, but it's not really working.

Thanks! I still have a ton of little things to do and that's what is driving me nuts!! I also need to finalize everything but my planner and floral are away this week.

I agree with lov2b@disney, I'm stealing the mickey mad hatter cake too. The only reason I didn't want it in the first place was because the color don't go. I should have realized that it could be customized to my colors and I love the mickeys. So much for my princess theme

I love Kohl's!! Sad that we don't have it up here. We are actually taking a trip to Buffalo in the next couple weeks so maybe I'll stop in (who am I kidding, we always go there!) and take a look! Thanks for the tip! I was really hoping to have the dress in so I could take a good look at it before I go shopping for jewelery...but I guess not. I'll just have to look at the sample when we go in to freak out on them on Saturday!
