We will be going to Orlando next weekend and are talking about going to Sea World for our second visit. We loved our first trip last fall but were very disappointed that we did not get to see the "Believe" show. Instead we got a 10 minute viewing of the new Shamu baby. Well I am hearing that another baby was just born. So will we, yet again, miss the actual "Believe" show?

Has anyone been in the last few days to know the situation?

We just went Friday and it was the Believe show, no babies....well there was a baby that came out with it's mother, but just followed her. The mother did what she had to do in the show.

Sorry the birth of a bay whale disrupted your vacation. Hope this one goes better for you:rolleyes1

When I went in March a baby was born as well and I enjoyed the baby presention a lot more then the Believe-show. I watch Believe a couple of days before the baby was born and I don't think it was that big a deal. The new baby was a lot more exciting.

Does anyone knows how that baby is doing now???

If I had gone and was looking forward to Believe and had paid a LOT of money and then there was no show, I too would have been a bit peeved about it. Especially if going to SW was a once in a very long time thing.

I thought I read that the baby was born in that front pool where the performances are held. I believe it was a situation where they didn't want to move the baby and the mother for a few days, so they left them in the performance tank until baby was ready to be moved to another pool without causing stress.

I suppose the "shows" they had were informational rather than closing down the entire stadium.

I can understand being disappointed in not getting to see "Believe", but I think seeing a newborn baby whale interacting with it's mother would have been awesome. My kids would never have left the stadium!
