Shamrock Shakes

I just talked to my DH and he said his mcds is getting in on their truck tomorrow, and should be in the machine sometime next week.. aaaahhh I have to wait.

I love me the Shamrock Shake!!!! I've had 2 this season, I was going to buy a 3rd, but was treated horribly at the counter, so I walked out.

I'll be visiting my local McD's, with courteous workers, again soon. I have heard the siren call of the Shamrock Shake the past couple days, but have resisted and attempted to fulfill the fix with a mint Skinny Cow.

It ain't workin'.

Anyway, here is this year's First Shamrock Shake picture:

Heading to the freezer for a Mint flavored Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich now. Now you've all done it. I was doing a really good job of kicking my ice cream habit too.

Our shakes here in WI are no longer in regular cups (like in your pic). They are in large clear cups with a dome-type lid w/opening at the top. They put whipped cream and a cherry in it.....BLECH!

This thread is cracking me up! I have been looking all over Mid to Eastern LI for a Mc Donalds with a Shamrock shake! So far, no luck!

I love shakes, but sadly have given them up for losing weight. We shall see how long that holds out.

McDonald's ice cream is low fat!!! *enable, enable* A cone is only 3 WW points! A small shake I would estimate around 5 or 6...


I had my third Shamrock Shake today! Woot! I've never eaten this many in one season, usually I restrain myself to one or two! And it's only March 5...this could be scary.

Never had a shamrock shake before.. I found a copycat recipe that I'm going to try making. Looks pretty good.

i didn't know they came in mint!! i only have vanilla and chocolate! lol but they're really good, aren't they?? and hey, at least they're on the healtiher spectrum of junk food.

mine was in the regular cup, but the cherries were on the BOTTOM and they were kind of smushed. luckily i read this thread beforehand or else i would have been kind of afraid to eat it lol
