I love the list of favorites. What a great idea. I'm looking forward to following your pre trip report.

I couldn't come up with a pithy list of final thoughts, so I figured I would just do my top ten faves.

I am excited about the new PTR!

Something about that top 10 made me hungry and thirsty.....

We are having cinnamon rolls and bacon at our house this morning if my Sleeping Beauties ever get out of bed. I don't know how they will readjust to school time on Tuesday.

LOVE the TOP 10 and especially love that the them of it was Eating, Drinking, and being Merry.. Such is the F & W festival!!! I am going to seriously try to twist my DH's arm into a BBack next fall! We'll see... Thanks for sharing Jackie! Now on to that PTR!!! Here I go!

LOVE the TOP 10 and especially love that the them of it was Eating, Drinking, and being Merry.. Such is the F & W festival!!! I am going to seriously try to twist my DH's arm into a BBack next fall! We'll see... Thanks for sharing Jackie! Now on to that PTR!!! Here I go!

Eating, drinking, and being merry are our favorite things to do. I would love to go back to the Food and Wine Festival this year, but sadly, there are beginning to be things that have to be done around the house that can't be put off much longer. It is getting to the point where I am going to have to say no to Disney and yes to some home improvements.

Thank you! You should definitely take DH away for some adult time! I can't begin to adequately describe how lovely it was to just be the two of us for a few days.

Thanks! Is the Food and Wine at DL similar?

It's hard to tell. Admittedly my experience with F&W at Epcot was entirely accidental and we didn't really "get" it or take full advantage of it, kind of like an unexpected bonus. Which is much the same for our DCA trip, it just happens to hit right. It sounds MUCH smaller and more California (wine in particular but cooking wise too) focused but they are pretty non specific about carts and such so I don't know.

They haven't released the lineup so who knows! They don't seem to do anything more than 2 months out there in California, very frustrating.

I am excited for it though and will definitely be taking lots of pictures.

They do seem to be a bit more relaxed with announcing things at Disneyland. I wonder why that is? I am excited to see what their Food and Wine Festival is all about from your trip there.
