Shaken, Not Stirred, With a Twist of Pixie Dust! A Food and Wine Trip!NEW! Pgs.75,76

So, someone couldn't wait any longer and booked her next trip today. ;)

Can't reveal any details yet, but I will say that we are going to have a grand time. Charles even came up with the title for the PTR.

Okay lady. I am not going to Disney over Christmas, and the closest thing I have to look forward to is the parade on Friday. So do tell!

I am not saying a word right now. :rolleyes1

Or putting a ticker up yet. :rolleyes1

Have to finish this one first. :goodvibes

All I want for Christmas is a ticker from Jackie... or this report done!

Are you staying in for Christmas? What did your kids ask Santa for?
One nephew is all about Lego Star Wars and Wii and the other is content playing with the boxes the toys came in.

We go to my parents' for Christmas Eve, and then, on Christmas Day, we head over to my SIL's for brunch.

Chelsea wants clothes, and Connor has asked for Legos and a few other things.

My parents are hosting Christmas this year so I ordered dessert to bring over. Yellow cake with chocolate and vanilla custard, 5 lbs of Italian cookies, and a large fruit tray. It's so much fun when someone else cooks :lmao:

:lmao: You crack me up, Jen. I am making a Tres Leches cake for Christmas Eve (we always have Mexican food), and hash brown casserole, pancake muffins, and Lemon Fizzes for brunch.

I think you should plan a trip to NYC.

Chelsea has informed us that is what she would like to do for her 16th birthday. Of course, that is three and a half years away.

Okay lady. I am not going to Disney over Christmas, and the closest thing I have to look forward to is the parade on Friday. So do tell!

;)

You and me both. Although, I must admit I am pretty excited about the parade.

All I want for Christmas is a ticker from Jackie... or this report done!

:rotfl: How about those for a New Year's gift? :goodvibes

So, someone couldn't wait any longer and booked her next trip today. ;)

Can't reveal any details yet, but I will say that we are going to have a grand time. Charles even came up with the title for the PTR.

I'm guessing you went with the Grand, too. I don't know if I know how to act in the presence of such rich people!

If you let me in on your resort secret before we go, I can take some pictures for you while we're on this trip. :)

I promise I'll keep it a secret. Sssshhh!

I'm finally caught up!!! At least by all your posts on your first page.. if there is more PLEASE let me know! hehe

Island Hopping- I love the picture of the palm tree. I love palm trees!
I also love cool coke machines! I'm a fan!

Oh, Canada- LeCellier is also a must for us next time too! I believe you are going before me so I look forward to your report on it!

Ducks & Grey Geese-
The food from Ireland looks soo yummy.

hahaha..Mardi Gras...haha

Good Morning, Epcot- I want a COOKBOOK! Great buy!
All the food looks so yummy.

Sazaracs-
Side note- YAY for another trip!

I'm not a huge seafood fan. I like some things and willing to try most. But all of the seafood you guys purchased does look delicious.

Bela Notte-
All the drunk people would probably annoy me. I mean you always expect a few when in Epcot at night during a festival or not.. but having tons and them being everywhere would honestly annoy me like no other. I don't have patience for drunk people. hehe This might turn me away from the food and wine festival at night.

I don't think I've ever read a report on Tutto Italia- so thanks for the review. The food does look great, especially yours. I have to admit I was practically drooling. It could also be because I'm starving. hehe

Look forward to another update!

WOO HOO!!

:hyper::jumping1::hyper::jumping1::hyper:

I am so excited that you made reservations for next year.....:scratchin wondering where you booked and for when :)

Your new PTR will be like a Christmas present to all of us! :goodvibes

Tracy :santa:

Oh WOW was I behind! Darn thanksgiving, christmas, black belt tests and monster work proposals! So glad I can get caught up now and you have been BUSY!

Comments in no particular order :goodvibes

  1. Sazerac. I've always wondered what it was and no have no desire to find out! Bleh.
  2. Praline Bread Pudding. Oh that looked DIVINE!
  3. Tutto. :thumbsup2 I'm so glad to read a good review of Tutto. I keep dismissing it from our list based on the general reviews but may need to rethink that. Then again I've already overwhelmed my MIL with 18 choices for 7 nights...
And what a nice escape from party central at the WS!
  4. PIN CODES! I love that pin code, I was blessed with that pin code. I keep trying to think of a way to use it more than once over the next year! If we have to move our dates...we could be there at the same time! Of course no clue when we will know if we are moving our dates but... Chelsea's bday must be close to K's, we are kind of hoping we do move and are there over her bday (14) on 8/1. Hmmn. BC or GF? Depends on the Conor Factor I'd think. He'd probably like BC better but 13 IS a big number so it will be interesting to see what you picked!

LOVE the adventures of the elves. This is my favorite.

I can't wait to hear how the lemon fizzes are.

Thanks for the review of Tutto. I'm still in a bit of revolt over the missing Alfredos' and haven't been there yet. It's sounds wonderful.

So, someone couldn't wait any longer and booked her next trip today. ;)

Can't reveal any details yet, but I will say that we are going to have a grand time. Charles even came up with the title for the PTR.

I can't wait to hear all about it!

You should all go try Tutto!! We loved it!! If you like olives, they have a fabulous little dish of them with the bread and oil they serve at the beginning of the meal. It's a beautiful restaurant - the decor and staff! ;)

Ohh yay you booked!
We have to wait? popcorn::
Did you tell Chelsea and Connor yet or are you waiting until christmas?

And painted Charles’ toenails!

CE002.jpg

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I am so glad I finished my water just before I read you latest updates....! Love it!!!!

You are not allowed to do this! We have a trip in just 3 days that doesn't include Tutto, and now I'm wishing it did! :rotfl:

Looks amazing...and it's added to the "must try" list. I think our stay in 2010 is going to have to be close to 2 weeks...!

So, someone couldn't wait any longer and booked her next trip today. ;)

Have to finish this one first. :goodvibes

Great strength have you.

I'm guessing you went with the Grand, too. I don't know if I know how to act in the presence of such rich people!

Ya, what MeMom said! I can take pictures too. ::yes:: I won't say a word!! :cutie:

I am thinking that you will have a grand "Floridian" kind of time :rolleyes1

DH and I watched Samantha Brown's Disney Holiday Special tonight ( I DVR'd it) and he said that we should go next year for xmas wohhoo :cool1:
We have never been at the holidays.

popcorn:: hanging in for all the details!

Jackie! I'm having trouble keeping up with all the TRs, but I wanted to stop by and wish you Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time off. We;re off to Texas to see our grandbabies!

ohhh and I forgot to say YAYYY for the new trip booked!! I'm going to guess and say Grand Floridian like everyone else! I can't wait to hear more!!

Chelsea has informed us that is what she would like to do for her 16th birthday. Of course, that is three and a half years away.

You're going to be doing quite a bit of cooking. Well, quite a bit for my standards :lmao:

I think NYC for Chelsea's 16th is fantastic. Hmmm is she a shopper? If she is, she'll LOVE it. I have quite a few hotel suggestions and some places to avoid :rolleyes1

I'm guessing you went with the Grand, too. I don't know if I know how to act in the presence of such rich people!

Suffice it to say that we would so not be staying anywhere as posh as where we are booked without that gem of a 40% pin. We also had to shorten our normal stay. :goodvibes

If you let me in on your resort secret before we go, I can take some pictures for you while we're on this trip.

I promise I'll keep it a secret. Sssshhh!

I think I am going to reveal it in the next update (hopefully tonight) because I can't keep a secret for long.

I'm finally caught up!!! At least by all your posts on your first page.. if there is more PLEASE let me know! hehe

Island Hopping- I love the picture of the palm tree. I love palm trees!
I also love cool coke machines! I'm a fan!

I adore palm trees -- almost as much as I like Spanish moss.

Oh, Canada- LeCellier is also a must for us next time too! I believe you are going before me so I look forward to your report on it!

I just hope we are able to get an ADR for next time.

Ducks & Grey Geese-
The food from Ireland looks soo yummy.

It was so good, I wanted to lick the bowl! :lmao:

Good Morning, Epcot- I want a COOKBOOK! Great buy!
All the food looks so yummy.

I love it although I have yet to actually make anything out of it.

I'm not a huge seafood fan. I like some things and willing to try most. But all of the seafood you guys purchased does look delicious.

It was top notch seafood!

Bela Notte-
All the drunk people would probably annoy me. I mean you always expect a few when in Epcot at night during a festival or not.. but having tons and them being everywhere would honestly annoy me like no other. I don't have patience for drunk people. hehe This might turn me away from the food and wine festival at night.

From what I understand and have read, it is really only bad on Friday and Saturday nights.

I don't think I've ever read a report on Tutto Italia- so thanks for the review. The food does look great, especially yours. I have to admit I was practically drooling. It could also be because I'm starving. hehe

I am starving, too, so I could definitely chow down on some Italian right now!

WOO HOO!!

Thanks, Tracy! We (Charles and I) are pretty excited -- we haven't told the kids yet. I can't wait to start the PTR now!

  1. Sazerac. I've always wondered what it was and no have no desire to find out! Bleh.

  1. The holidays are always super busy for us, too.

    Don't try the Sazeracs!

[*]Praline Bread Pudding. Oh that looked DIVINE!

Every last bite was a little bit of heaven!

[*] Tutto. :thumbsup2 I'm so glad to read a good review of Tutto. I keep dismissing it from our list based on the general reviews but may need to rethink that. Then again I've already overwhelmed my MIL with 18 choices for 7 nights...
And what a nice escape from party central at the WS!

Tutto now ranks up there as one of my favorite restaurants at Disney. Definitely worth a try!

[*]PIN CODES! I love that pin code, I was blessed with that pin code. I keep trying to think of a way to use it more than once over the next year! If we have to move our dates...we could be there at the same time! Of course no clue when we will know if we are moving our dates but... Chelsea's birthday is July 17 -- it would be so fun if we could be there at the same time!

LOVE the adventures of the elves. This is my favorite.

006.jpg

Those elves are pure craziness, but they are leaving with Santa in two nights.

I can't wait to hear how the lemon fizzes are.

I am so looking forward to them -- I keep spying the ingredients in the fridge.

Thanks for the review of Tutto. I'm still in a bit of revolt over the missing Alfredos' and haven't been there yet. It's sounds wonderful.

I can't wait to hear all about it!

I am kind of glad I never tried Alfredo's so I don't miss it. ;)

Ohh yay you booked!
We have to wait? popcorn::
Did you tell Chelsea and Connor yet or are you waiting until christmas?

You won't have to wait for too much longer. :goodvibes

We have not mentioned anything to the kids yet. ;)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I am so glad I finished my water just before I read you latest updates....! Love it!!!!

We had the biggest laugh over the elves painting Charles' toenails.

You are not allowed to do this! We have a trip in just 3 days that doesn't include Tutto, and now I'm wishing it did! :rotfl:

Looks amazing...and it's added to the "must try" list. I think our stay in 2010 is going to have to be close to 2 weeks...!

Put Tutto on that 2010 list!!! :thumbsup2

Lots of details to share!!!

I am thinking that you will have a grand "Floridian" kind of time :rolleyes1

DH and I watched Samantha Brown's Disney Holiday Special tonight ( I DVR'd it) and he said that we should go next year for xmas wohhoo :cool1:

You will love Disney decorated for Christmas. We went the week before Christmas in 2004, and it was just so pretty!!!

Jackie! I'm having trouble keeping up with all the TRs, but I wanted to stop by and wish you Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time off. We;re off to Texas to see our grandbabies!

Merry Christmas!!! Have fun in Texas with the grandbabies!!! :santa:

Happy holidays! Looking forward to hearing about your "grand" adventure.

Happy Holidays to you, too!

ohhh and I forgot to say YAYYY for the new trip booked!! I'm going to guess and say Grand Floridian like everyone else! I can't wait to hear more!!

Thank you, Jen! I am planning on spilling the beans in the next update!

You're going to be doing quite a bit of cooking. Well, quite a bit for my standards :lmao:

It's quite a bit for my standards, too.

I think NYC for Chelsea's 16th is fantastic. Hmmm is she a shopper? If she is, she'll LOVE it. I have quite a few hotel suggestions and some places to avoid :rolleyes1

Yes, Chelsea is definitely a shopper! We will be in need of lots of advice since it has been quite awhile since I was there last.

Chelsea's birthday is July 17 -- it would be so fun if we could be there at the same time!

We have not mentioned anything to the kids yet. ;)

Our larger window is 7/18-8/22 so...it could happen!

We haven't told the younger ones yet either but will this weekend I think.

Can't wait to see what you chose
