I have been to River Street in Savannah, the infamous Buckhead in Atlanta, and Bourbon Street in New Orleans, but I have to say that those places paled in comparison to World Showcase on a Saturday night during the Food and Wine Festival.

when we were at the F&W on a saturday I had made the executive decision NOT to go back into Epcot for dinner for fear of what you described. I guess I can go tell my Dh I was right about it now.

that is my DH. If there was one thing I could change about him, this would be it. I would love to split food when we go out to eat (I grew up in a family where this was the standard) and he absolutely refuses! (He grew up with 3 brothers so I think he learned to guard his food from scavengers!) It's funny because on the rare occasion when he does share something, it feels like a major treat

Me too! I wish Charles was more willing to split things -- I don't think I will ever be able to change him on that one. At least, I taught him that it's okay to have leftovers. That was a major accomplishment.

I love tiramisu! It is one of the reasons we have Tutto on out backup ADR list. Unfortunately last year I only found it at Mama Melroses and was sadly disappointed. Yours looks delish!

The tiramisu was delicious! Some of the best I have ever had!

I am glad you all had such a good meal at Tutto....this year while we were in "Italy," Tom asked....why aren't we eating here?!?!?!?! Guess I will need to add that one to the list of MUST DOs next time!!!

I am so tired of rain -- all it ever does here is rain! Very depressing. I told Charles yesterday that I wish we had the snow the East Coast got -- he looked like I had grown another head and replied, "You know 20 inches of snow doesn't melt after one day." Sigh.

Funny thing about the weather: before we moved to Concord we lived in Salisbury and they got snow. So, if we hadn't moved we would have seen snow today. We're not telling Hannah.

For once I can say CMS was the smarter district! LOL I'm glad it's going away. It's been a cold, yucky day.

My BIL is a teacher in Rockwell so I am sure he was glad to get an early start on Winter Break.

As for CMS- moments of brilliance, or just too slow to make any decision. Really I think our district cannot do early dismissal because they cannot turn the busses around quick enough because of the staggered schedule.

I would have been so stressed trying to navigate the two kids through the crowds. I am glad it was just Charles and me.

I am glad I was alone. It would have been less than magical to keep up with kids in that mess.

I'm glad that you posted a review of Tutto Italia. I know it's been a while, but I am still mourning Alfredo's, and I can't bring myself to eat at Tutto. So I'm glad to see your good review, a nice relaxing meal, and that you enjoyed yourself.

And since I married an Italian (my husband's parents were born in Italy), I can say, I TOTALLY identify with you on the waiters and adorable accents.

He did good at the Food and Wine kiosks with sharing, so I was willing to let him hoard his food at Tutto.

One nephew is all about Lego Star Wars and Wii and the other is content playing with the boxes the toys came in.

My parents are hosting Christmas this year so I ordered dessert to bring over. Yellow cake with chocolate and vanilla custard, 5 lbs of Italian cookies, and a large fruit tray. It's so much fun when someone else cooks
