Shades of Green Update?

Last I knew, the Shades of Green resort would be open in March of this year, but when I look at the construction photos on their site it looks like they have a long way to go. Does anyone know of an updated opening date for SOG?

Any info would be appreciated as I have tried calling all day and can only get a busy signal.

They will open on March 1st but not all will be complete. They are opening the original 287 rooms.

I just returned last night from my trip and my source told me the above. The Source also said that this was supposed to be only for the first 5 days of Mar, as the Source snickered when saying it, so, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes longer than that.

I also found out that they've had to rip up and relay the floor in the kitchen, yet again since the grease traps were laid the wrong way. And, apparently, the columns in the lobby area are too big and they also are coming down and going back up.

Unfortunately, I lose my source as of Mar 1 so, I'll pretty much be in the dark as much as you all. On a positive note, my Dad was here last week and he took a gander at the hotel. Said it looked beautiful.

We'll be there the first week of April. I sure hope it's complete because I don't want to be vacationing with construction vehicles, noice, dirt & dust! YUCK!
