Shades of Green price vs Disney Resort at military rate?

We just got back from Princess Half Marathon Weekend. We stayed at Shades of Green (which was really great!) and now we want to go back for Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend in November. We had my car for PHM Weekend so we paid the $7/night at SOG. For W&D we would be flying down. Do you think it would be cheaper to stay at a Disney Resort with a military discount since it includes the magical express or stay at SOG and have to pay for an Uber (~$80 round trip) to the airport?

You might have a hard time actually finding a room with the military discount for a Run Disney weekend in November at this point. Why not call and find out what is available and then compare to SOG price plus $80 for Uber.

One data point - my nephew is going in May and was unable to get a place at Shades of Green, but said he got about 40% off at the Polynesian with a military discount.

I would call now and see if there are any rooms still available at the military rate. We've had a hard time finding a room with the military rate lately, and when we have found them, they are not at the 30, 35 or 40% off. They now say "up to 30, 35 or 40% off", and as the rooms fill up the percentage of discount seems to drop.
