I hope someone who has stayed at SOG before can help me. We will be staying at SOG 12/6 & 12/7 and will have military park hopper tickets. A few questions:
Do I need to check in at SOG first in order to be able to have early entry to the park?
If we get Genie+, can we book our reservations at 7am (like on-site guests) or 9am?
Same thing for Remy, 7am for the VQ? Or 9am?
AND if it’s 9am, is it really work the $$?
Has anyone seen discounted MVMCP military tickets?

Thank you!

I haven't stayed at SoG,but I do know it's on the list of hotels available for Early Theme Park Entry, Deluxe After Hours, and 7am Genie+/ILL$ reservations.

Remy virtual queue is 7am and 1pm. As long as you have a park reservation for the day, you're eligible to try to get a boarding group at 7am.

Most people showing up for early theme park entry on their check in day are saying they just have to show their confirmation in the app and they're allowed in.

Is there a way to link my SOG reservation to my MDE account? I tried to put in the reservation #, but it's not accepting it.
We'll be in Disney on 12/6 & 12/7 and would like to do early entry on 12/6 without having to check into SOG first.
Thanks,

No. You will need to check in and get a key. Same as if you stay at Swan and Dolphin.

You can link your SOG reservation to your MDE; I do it every year. It's considered 'on site' for things such as ADR windows. If you find the Shades of Green thread in the resorts forum, there are lots of posts there when people have had linking issues/advice about how to resolve it (I've lucked out in never having an issue myself).

However, we've never had our magicbands used to verify eligibility for (pre-COVID) extra magic hours; they looked at our resort IDs instead. I've presumed they're diong the same for the new early entry and nigh extended hours, but haven't actually looked for any reports. If they are continuing to use SOG resort IDs to verify entry, you will need to check in first.

Shades of Green have discounted tickets for the Christmas After Hours; we received a chart of the prices via email when we were doing our ticket order (the discount varies by date, and the only ones below $200 are in early/mid November). I can't find a copy online (although they had the Boo Bash chart on their facebook page), but if you email or call the ticket office they could probably help you.

thanks! I’ll have to look it up as I can’t get the reservation to link.

Great…Thank you!

I think I had to call Disney to get it linked in MDE last time we stayed there. You will definately want it linked so you have all the benefits like early entry and early lightning lane selections.

Are you trying to link your SOG reservation through the app, or online? I have only ever been able to get mine to link by logging in online.
