Shades of Green and renting a car

I'm going to be staying at Shades of Green the first week of April 2007, I know they provide bus service to the different parks, but would it be worthwhile for us to rent a car instead to be sure we got to the parks early each morning? Also does the bus service continue late at night for the 3 hours after parks close to take us back to Shades of Green? We're taking along a 14 month old so we're debating on renting a car.

Hi Trekker: Thanks for your help, I wasn't sure with the SOG bus if they ran late at night and how often they ran.

We are at SOG in April also, but to answer your
question I just asked one of our boys about the
buses and he says about an hour or so after the
parks close, could be longer in busier times. About
renting a car, we always do. This past trip in Dec
we rented from Hertz (offsite) at MCO and that
same day the car broke down(powersteering) the
only thing that was good is that Hertz has a booth
at SOG so I was able to get another car right away.
I suppose the buses are fine, but I like having a car
while there.
