SF/Bay Area Big Brother Fans (NO SPOILERS)

KPIX CH. 5 will NOT be air Big Brother tonight because of football. They are airing it on their UPN "sister station" at 10pm.

Now here is my rant. I don't get the UPN station. So I will be missing the show completely. Why couldn't they just air it at 2AM or somthing so at least those of us who do not get the UPN station could tape it? This is just not fair. I will be emailing them, nto that I think it will make a difference.

My mom lives in Pittsburgh and the same thing happened to her tonight so I taped mine and then called her during every commercial break and gave her a synopsis. She also wrote to her local cable provider and said that she thinks there are a lot more BB fans than there are Steelers fans. I would have to agree

None here either! This is PRESEASON football....Not even my die-hard football fan boyfriend cares! I'm sure there are a select few who do, but why can't we keep our regularly scheduled programming? We do during normal football season...I hope it wasn't on UPN here since I missed it if it was....I'm still hoping it's on at 2

I emailed my local CBS affiliate to tell them how upset I was and they only reply I got was the it would be on UPN at 10pm. Which of course i knew because that was my complaint. That it was on the UPN station when we don't get it here.

I am hoping they rethink it and maybe air it tomorrow or Saturday before the show.

It was wierd - they didn't even show the HOH competition on the UPN station. Very odd editing. Read about it on Morty's site - usually good recaps. (I am still kicking myself for even watching this stupid show!)

Programming Note: CBS 5 and UPN Bay Area apologizes for the mishap in the airing of 9/2's episode of Big Brother 5. The episode will air again at 7PM on Saturday, 9/4 on CBS 5.

YEAH!! I am so happy. I am not sure if this is just our local SF station or everywhere. But for those who missed it check with your local CBS station.

Unfortunately, it won't reair here. I emailed (twice technically, sent my boyfriend's for him too) and the lady said it ran at 3:29 or something like that this morning. She had taped it and gave me a recap....sent him the exact same thing. She said that they only had one feed for it or something so they won't be able to get it again.
