Sex and the City...what did you think?

I know that there are a lot of you out there that hate the show, so please feel free to click the back button and let us have our little gab session.

Here are my thoughts on last nights episode...

Carrie-WHY are we still watching the whole Alec/Carrie romance? I hate them together, it is just weird. They just seem so off to me. The Barney Shoe sale thing was kinda funny with Charlotte. Anywho, I just feel like they are wasting our episodes with Alec! Only 7 Left hopefully filled with Carrie and Big!

Charlotte-Love Anthony with her! He was too funny! I hope this isn't the last time we see him. She didn't have much going on this episode. I hope she will be preggo before it's all over.

Miranda-she is a nerd. "He is so in love with me" That was really funny. I was kinda mad that they made Robert out to be a total jerk in the end. However, I am so happy that Miranda and Steve are together finally! Can't wait to see the episodes with his mother.

Samantha-UGH! I hated her for sleeping with Richard! But I'm glad that she realized what an IDIOT she was for doing that! I wouldn't mind seeing Sam with Smith in the end. She seems to really care for him. But I guess I'd be okay with her being alone being just Samantha.

So what were your thoughts on last nights episode!?!

Seems like they are trying to cram too many serious things into the one episode, without as much humor. I can understand it will be hard to wrap everything up (each character's issues) in only 7 more episodes. I love this show and don't see why it should end. I look forward to it on Sundays, and have not enjoyed the other HBO original series (other than Oz and Sopranos, of course!) as much....

it was a good episode...but i agree with you about this whole alec thing. it's just creepy...bring on BIG!!!

i think that charlotte will be pregnant by the end...i'm thrilled about miranda and steve...and i'm glad that samantha felt bad about the whole richard thing. he's a jerk anyway...i was happy to see smith waiting for her though...

I also feel they are cramming too much stuff.

Found the whole storyline with Miranda boring. I like the fact that things are going well for her now, but the whole series, she has had one terrible date after another. I kinda enjoyed wondering what weirdo she could possibly find next...lol.

Charlotte getting lost in the dept store was funny, however, I do not see that storyline of helping the blind going any further....unless she adopts a blind child??????

What can you say about Samantha? She fell in love with Richard and got burned. Maybe seeing him again in that bar with younger people made her think that Smith was too young for her and that she was kidding herself by thinking a guy that young could want to stay with her when he could easily get the attention of younger women. Richard was convenient, closer to her age and she thought she still had feelings for him. Felt sorry for Smith sitting there at the elevator. Had an uneasy feeling when Sam came out of the elevator looking ...well....undone....and he just hugged her so tight. There is no way I could have done that. Yeah, she knows she did wrong. She knew she was wrong before the elevator doors closed.

Carrie. Ok, the relationship seems wrong with Alec because she has had this long term relationship with Big and Big knows her. I want to see her with Big, but I guess if that is how the story will end, there has to be something else there to distract us. However, I LOOOOOOOOVE Mikhail Baryshnikov (I want some pancakes) and he is my sons idol.....yes, we are a ballet family . I allowed my son to watch last night for the first few minutes just to get a glimpse of him. (had the remote handy just in case they quickly switched over to Samantha in one of her sessions...lol). He is only 11 years old, so I had to be quick with the remote.

Can't wait for next week!

Samantha.... Please Help me.. but I did not hear what Richard was saying to her.... Smith won BIG points with me when I saw him waiting for her when she got off the elevator!!

Miranda- oh she was too funny last night.. "be kind steve.. he is still madly in love with me" with those big doe eyes!!!
I too wish they had not made Robert nasty.....I just think that Blair Underwood is way too cute. Love Miranda and Steve and wish them a happily ever after

Charlotte- totally cracks me up! LOVE ANTHONY!!! MORE ANTHONY PLEASE!!! Also more scenes of Charlotte and Harry!
The shoe scene with Carrie was brilliant

Carrie- don't care for Mr. Barishnikof (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) linked with Carrie.. I agree bring on mr big or someone else.... Also someone please tell me why Carrie has the need to dress like a 14 year old girl with tons of cash? and WHY is her hair have dark roots that are 5 inches long.??.. very distracting to me..... Carrie is a great character, she is fun to watch.. even with Mr. Barishnikof
I am sad to see this series end. I just got into it the past 2 years. I have been watching reruns of the other years.. seems I am about caught up. I think these characters have so much more to give.

I'm the world's biggest Barishnikov fan, and while he was nuzzling Carrie's neck last night, I soooo wished that I were her! That said, they just don't seem to go together very well. I want her with Big, too! Charlotte in the shoe dept. blindfolded was funny, and I like her with her new husband--they're such opposites! Anthony's a riot. I swear he's the long lost twin of a man who used to cut my hair. Miranda was funny with the whole "he is so in love with me" thing, but I too, am glad she's with Steve. Blair Underwood's a hottie, tho'! Gosh, if Samantha doesn't snatch Smith and hold on tight, I'm going after him! I want to run my hands through his hair! She needs a long term relationship with a man who can..ummm...keep up with her, and a younger man just might fit the bill! I must be spending too much time checking out SJP's shoes--I never realized how attractive the men on that show are!

When Carrie & Alex were "making out", ick! ick! ick! They just do not "fit" together. He is just to old for her!

Robert, what a jerk!! Why is he "screwing" with Miranda & Steve when he's got a half naked "lady" in his apt?? Hope they don't show him again!

Char - just wanted to yell, "take of that blindfold, girl!!" Carrie ditched you, just take the dumb thing off till you find her!

Sam, I think she's finally "waking up". Smith is a real keeper!!! Who else would wait while your date is "xxxx" another man!! Think she finally is joing the human race, emotionally!

NY Times had a nice article in Sun's paper. Seems they filmed 4 final shows so no one will "know" the real ending till the end. They also admitted they filmed in France.

I don't know, just seems like to many "loose ends" to wrap up in 7 more shows.

When Carrie got up and went to tell Alek that she was leaving, I was so upset! I SO wanted him to be back next week... then, he convinced her to try their relationship for a while. I was SO happy! I love his accent and I thought the whole thing of her trying to learn some Russian was very funny. It reminded me of my DH's pathetic attempts to repeat our children when they didn't speak English. She really murdered, zdratsvoytye (hello). I thought it was funny when he asked her if she knew any other Russian words and she said her version of hello, and he said, "well, I can see that you don't know any other words."

Please, he's just as slutty as she is and she's having a hard time dealing with his prowesses. Isn't she the same person who in previous seasons had a f*** friend to call when she didn't have a boyfriend but needed some?

Charlotte doesn't have time in 7 more episodes to adopt, unless a baby is left at her doorstep, so my prediction is that she'll be pregnant before the show is finished.

Smith showed great class in waiting for Samantha. She may be the older of the two, but he's more mature. And SO cute!

As for Miranda... I'm glad she's with Steve, but I can't imagine Blair Underwood having a hard time finding someone better than her... less neurotic and more beautiful. Steve's line when he got off the elevator, "I think he'll leave us alone now," was great.

I liked the episode, and I don't hate the Mikhail Baryshnikov thing.

I actually think that Carrie will end up with him, as an homage to the "real Carrie's" (the author who wrote the book upon which the series is based) story. When she finally settled down and married, she married a ballet dancer. Although Baryshnikov's character is an artist, not a dancer, I think that the coincidence is just too striking.

Apologies to my husband, but I don't care how old Mikhail Baryshnikov is. He could nuzzle my neck anytime!

Char has remarried. A fat, short, no mannered Jewish guy. She converted just to be with him! They are *so* different but *so* perfect together. She was pregnant, but had a miscarriage.

Sam's boyfriend, Smith, is so hot!!! He's not quite 30 & really bringing her down to earth emotionally.

I really enjoyed last night's episode!

I don't mind the Barishnikov storyline. Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't want Carrie to end up with Big. Something tells me that they are not going to be together in the end. As for Alex and Carrie, I think they are really cute together. And oh, his accent is soooooo sexy!

And could Miranda have been more annoying last night? "He's still in love with me" The way she said that was so silly.

As for Samantha, supposedly she's got a big surprise coming next week, or so the NY Post says. Can't wait for that!

Charlotte-That whole scene in the store was hilarious. I wonder what her revelation at the end meant? Hmm, can't wait for that either.

I just love, love, love this show.

I liked the episode--hated to see it end. I do hoep Charlotte is pg before the series ends. I do like her with Harry.
Im glad Miranda and Steve are back together but I too didnt like they way they had Robert acting. I could see it being uncomfortable but not him making fun of her.
Samantha should stay single--she has been happy that way the whole time. Its nice of her to have Smith around but I dont think I want to see her married or anything.
Carrie is another story--I still cannot believe she just let Aidan get away. They made a great couple. I do like Big but after all they have been through marriage just seems strange to me. I dont think I like her with Alex either.

I can't believe there are only 7 left. I thought it was a good episode ( I just wish the show was an hour instead of 30 minutes). It was a little serious but I think they were just trying to get some loose ends tied up so they can start the characters moving in a different direction. I too thought the Charlotte thing in the mall was kind of silly. Why didn't she just take off the blindfold until she found Carrie? Sometimes the storylines just aren't as good for her as they are for the others. I can't stand the Carrie/Alec pairing but I think he'll be around for most of the 7 episodes. I just hope at the end Big shows up and "saves" her from him. I love Steve and Miranda together but also think that turning Robert into a jerk wasn't what I wanted to see as a conclusion to his character. The Samantha/Richard/Smith storyline was great. She finally realized what a good thing she had though they did make him out to be really immature at times last night compared to past episodes. All in all a good show and I can't wait for the next one!

I like the Alek/Carrie thing, he's sexy for an old dude He's different, unique, very charasmatic, that's the kind of guy she goes for. And, if Big were the 'monogomous kind,' she'd already be with him, I don't see him changing, although they do have a lot of chemistry together.

Man, if Samantha finally falls for Smith, wouldn't that be a trip. It's so true, you don't get to ever pick the guy you fall in love with.... it just happens. Look at Charlotte, perfect example. She wanted a good looking sophisticated doctor, and look what she ended up with. Doesn't matter, if it's love, it's love.

And Blair Underwood..... man that guy is smokin! I'm frankly sick of the Miranda/Steve saga, but maybe this time they'll actually stay happy for longer than 10 minutes.

I love the show, and I'm sorry to see it go. I watch all the reruns on HBO and will probably eventually buy all the seasons on DVD, one of the best shows ever, can't wait to see how it ends up!

I missed the new episode! Bummer! I guess I was busy watching other soaps.

I love this show! Can't comment much about this episode, but I know I'd love to see happy endings all around when it end. I want to see Charlotte have a baby, Miranda live happily ever after with Steve, Sam with Smith, and Carrie with Big.

Trite, I know, but all of it would please me.
