You can't pay with PayPal BUT you can get a PayPal debit card for free through PayPal and then make your payments with that card... the money comes right out of your PayPal account! You can learn more about the card on the
website
Welcome!

Thanks so much for this info. I thought that Paypal had a debit card, but I couldn't remember for sure. This helps me immensely!
Not sure if what she is sewing yet has reached the level of "inspiring" (lol), and I have never before posted a picture on the Dis, but one of these days I will figure it out and post some of her sewing creations for you.
I hope you figure out how to post pics - if you need help, just let me know, I'd be happy to give it a whirl.

The fact that your daughter wants to learn to sew and is sewing is inspiring as it is - trying is half the battle.
I hope you'll put up pics of your daughter's AG sewing if she'll let you!
I will put some of her sewing items up here... I will probably do it next week, when I work all week and won't have time to post my own outfits.
I just realized we will be at POFQ at the same time. DD(10) and I will be there from Saturday March 10 to Tuesday March 13, then catching the Dream for our first
Disney cruise. We were booked for ASMovies, but when free dining came out I switched to POFQ. So glad I did it quickly, because now my start date is no longer eligible in the offer. Oh, and we are also leaving our "military dad" at home this trip!!
I've been trying today to get some idea of park days and ADRs since our ADR date is Saturday. I was hoping that park hours for March would come out before we have to make our ADRs this weekend, but no luck so far. We did Cape May dinner for the first time during our June 2011 trip and LOVED IT! My daughter has requested to go back in March. Tusker House breakfast (still not sure if going to AK), Ohana dinner, and Cali Grill are 3 of our favorites and will probably round out the rest of the ADRs. I know we are only doing two park days using our leftover military tickets from June plus a waterpark day, but haven't made a final decision about what parks yet. Your plans look great!
Please flag us down if you see us.

I would love to do a Dis meet while we are there.
Awesome that the military dad is staying home - us girls need a trip of our own once in a while. I've always wanted to do a Disney cruise - but man, they are expensive... I would have to sew non-stop for a year just to pay for it. The girls really want to stay at the Poly for sure, and that's almost as expensive as a cruise... I sure hope they like POFQ - it will save me a lot of $$ if we can just keep staying there. LOL
Hi!
Just wanted to let you know I'm subbing to your PTR!
Your outfits are amazing! I never would have believed that you haven't been sewing that long! You're such an inspiration! I have no idea how to sew, but it's something I'd like to learn but never thought I could! I'm pretty intimidated by sewing machines... but your PTR is starting to make me think that there's hope for me yet!
Welcome!

And thank you - that is so nice of you to say.

I was so intimidated by sewing machines, as well. I was so afraid of everything, but once I heaved that bugger out of the closet - I knew there was no turning back. Find yourself a used one, or even a cheap one from
Walmart (which I would never recommend to anyone normally) - just to learn the basics. Then once you are confident, and know what you enjoy making - you can choose a machine that fits your needs better. You can always sell your first machine - you might not recoup all your costs, but you should get something. If you ever have any questions, I am happy to help... Otherwise the Disboutiquers are an awesome bunch of people and there always seems to be someone lurking over there that can help you out - they are located in the "Disney for Families" section.
Your PTR also makes me nostalgic for the American Girl dolls I had as a child!
I am a firm believer that going back to your childhood as an adult keeps you young (at heart).
"Pretend you love each other girls" That reminds me of DBF's sisters! Growing up they NEVER got along! But now that they're both in their 20's, they're actually very close! In fact, the younger sister just moved in with her older sister and her boyfriend. And she recently called her mom to tell her that it's weird when her older sister fights with her boyfriend because, "That's the way she used to yell at me, so it's weird hearing her yell like that at someone else!"
LOL... Everyone has been telling me for YEARS that, "next year" they should grow out of it... I wonder when "next year" will actually get here? Probably when they move out.
Anyway, I'm loving your PTR so far! I can't wait to read more! And I can't wait to see more outfits!
Loved all your photos!
Great park plans but I don't think I could take a whole day off.

I think the incremental day is only about $8.
Can't wait to see the next outfit.
Thank you... I know - I just hate to take a whole day off. But we never have, and we just come home exhausted. Besides, I'd really like to check out DTD - and the pools look like a lot of fun too. I'll probably get anxious and want to go into a park... we could always add another extra day to our passes and sneak into a park in the evening to take on the show or fireworks at one of the parks???
Love seeing all the pictures of your past trips. I am a sucker for any Disney pictures

I saw you posted that you sold your Splash Mtn dress and your Minnie dress is already sold too
Thanks... I was planning on doing a post from our 2008 trip, as well.
Whoo-hoo, I am still so thrilled that my SM outfit went!

<------ my stylin' dunce hat
Ho boy am I far behind. I've actually been sewing -- imagine that -- and as you may recall there's quite a bit of travel time involved in my getting to your thread.
Hi Cheryl... so glad you came back... There's hope for my PTR if readers keep coming back.
I

the fairy godmother outfit and all the photos of trips gone by. My Project Runway for Week 5 involved some vintage photos, but I scrapped the project when I realized I had been spending way too much time on it, and sewing one of the photos sideways was the final straw.
Thank you.

I find that if you sew with your head straight up (rather than sideways), you get a straighter line. Just sayin'.
DH update: He did go back to work this morning. He said his back has loosened up (from the meds, I am sure) but he still has a lot of pain. I hope he takes it easy - like he said he would - and doesn't make the situation worse.
On to outfit #48 today, after I get the girls off to school.
Also, I woke up with an idea of what I want to make the girls and I for our trip. Of course, it will have to wait until I finish all these outfits, but my best ideas come to me when I am laying in bed trying to fall back to sleep... and if they are
really good ideas - I can't fall back to sleep because I am so excited - which is why I am up much earlier than normal this morning. Hopefully, I can eek out enough time that I can get the girls' made in time for Christmas.
