~~~SEWING my way to POFQ ~ American Girl outfits & Custom Park Bags! ~~~
Sorry about your car -- I just wanted to chime in though as dh called me two days ago to tell me he was at Tread Quarters. He's been nursing a leaking tire for awhile but two flats in one day didn't cut it anymore and the other tires will not pass inspection i=this April so he had all four new ones put on at a price tag of over $1000 (hybrid tires = more $$) and we need work on water system in RI AGAIN so lord knows how much that will cost -- these weren't in our budget either! I have ceased scanning e-bay for AG items for the month :( No extra money whatsoever to spend :( So do you want to trade bills???
:hug:
I'm at home all day today. Unless I decide to walk to the store (which I could do, but it looks like rain outside) - The car DH drives (which used to be my car and is a cute red 4 door Alero) has decided it likes to live dangerously and will cut off at random times. It especially likes to do so in stop & go traffic and at traffic lights.
We took it to our mechanic (who is fabulous, so I know he's not the problem) a while back and the code that was coming up was the spark plugs. Okay - fixed that. DH didn't tell me that it was still having issues until he called at 7:15 on Tuesday morning to tell me to come get him & P as they were on the side of the road. Lovely.
We had it towed to the mechanic (thank goodness for AAA) and this time the code that was coming up was a fuel injector. He couldn't get the part until Wednesday, but that was okay as DH is off on Weds this month. We arranged to pick the car up last night and pay on Friday (again, love our mechanic, because $225 was NOT in the budget for car repair this week). Picked up the car and headed home. . . I noticed DH wasn't behind me anymore as my phone rang. Yup. Car died at the light. He finally got it going again and headed back to the mechanic's. I turned around and headed back too . . . I almost had to push him the last little bit (you have to pull a U-turn to get to the shop and the car cut off as he pulled around) but he made it.
So, he has my car to go to work (he works 45 minutes away) and Phalen and I will just stay home. DH was able to go in a little late, so he took Finn to school and a friend will bring him home (would have kept him home too, but it's PJ & Pancake & Playball day at school and he didn't want to miss out!).
I hate car problems.
I am so sorry about your car problems... I used to have a car that would do that in high school... If you hit the brakes really hard, the car would stall - and you would have to let it sit for over an hour to get it started again. :confused3 Seriously annoying... Thankfully it didn't even last me until winter, because I'd be a popsicle right now waiting for it to get started again.
I hope the mechanic is able to get it fixed for you today. :lovestruc
Love the furniture. Love the divider and I just don't know why it doesn't come with bulletproof glass.
My dad expanded our house thru the roof to get my sister and I away from each other. One of the good things about having a general contractor/engineer for a dad.
Yes, I am totally perplexed about the furniture companies not offering bullet proof glass as an option... with very dark tinting, of course... they would make a mint on the profits.
ROFL about your dad expanding the roof... we were very happy that the girls could have their own bedrooms when we bought this house. Although, they do share a connecting wall, and continue to antagonize each other through that. :sick:
ACK!!! Not good... I hope it's not going to be as expensive as you think it's going to be.
I finally got my new bag cut out... I love these messenger bags, but there are soooo many pieces and they are so large, they take forever to cut out. I am going to eat lunch and start assembling. I hope to get it all assembled today - except for the main flap, and maybe even start appliqueing. I still have to make my bias trim though - and that seems to always take forever because so much is needed. :rolleyes1
Hi D,
I love love love all the bags. I am a Vera Bradley girl and love the Hipster for my park bag, but your UPB has really taken it to another level with all the cool features you added. I don't think I haven't posted since the first few pages of this thread but I have ready every page and have had a great time following your PTR.
BTW I made our final payment for our trip yesterday, so we will definitely be at POFQ too from March 10 to March 13, and I will say hello if we (me and my 10 year old daughter) run into you. My daughter loves to sew and is a HUGE fan of your work!
Rhonda
Thanks for the reminder Lisa... We were actually looking for a divider with bullet proof mirrored glass - but we are told the manufacturers don't make anything like that??? :confused3 I don't understand why - I am sure that parents all over the world would snatch them up like hotcakes. :rolleyes1
D~
someone needs to start working on a prototype for that :thumbsup2
Marianne and Andrea - sorry about all the car $$ and issues, never fun to have to pay out all that money at once!
popcorn:: for your newest bag D~
Hi Rhonda!! :) Glad to see you back again. :lovestruc First of all - if you see us at WDW, please say hello... I would love to meet you and your dd! :wizard:
So, has your dd made herself (or you) anything fun for your trip? IF not, there's still time. :lovestruc
Do you know which parks you'll be in on which days yet?
someone needs to start working on a prototype for that :thumbsup2
Marianne and Andrea - sorry about all the car $$ and issues, never fun to have to pay out all that money at once!
popcorn:: for your newest bag D~
Lisa - I agree completely! Maybe we should start drafting prototypes while we are all together this summer? Possibly even a version for in the car??? :woohoo:
I am working hard on the bag Lisa... Currently I am working on the box pleats for the pockets - you know me... Gotta do all the weird stuff that takes forever. :confused3 It's lookin' good though. I just love the interior fabric for this bag - it's perfection! :lovestruc
OK, back to work for D~. :thumbsup2
D~
I so want one of those bullet proof glass for the couch and the car. But if you are going to do it right you better make it sound proof as well. And not just so they can't yell things through the walls either, but because sometimes I just need a little peace and quite. My 4 year old DS has always been so loud. He only has two volumes: Loud and asleep.:lmao: I don't know how many time I have told him that he doesn't need to talk so loud when he is inside.:confused3
Can't wait to see your new bag D :thumbsup2
I finally got the skirts done for the girls and I cut out the fabric and ironed them on the shirts for the appliques.:goodvibes I have some extra material from the skirts so I was thinking about making one for her doll (it's not a AG but it is the same size.)
Sorry to hear about everybody's car problems. My car had serious issues at Christmas and spent Christmas Eve at the repair show. Needed new brakes and rotors plus some other stuff. I can sympathize with Andrea about the tires. My car has the run flat tires which are super expensive and they wear out faster. I would never have chosen them but we bought my mini van used (we got a great deal on it and it was only 5 months old!) so we got what we got!
How exciting about the new furniture. I am sure you will love it once you get it delivered. It is such a nice style and it looks super comfortable. I love the fabric for the pillows. I hope you can find it at a good price. I love the loveseat with the divider! That is exactly what I need for my two girls. Having two girls so close in age is very difficult some days. My two each have their own rooms and don't even have to share a bathroom yet they still bicker constantly. But when they are apart they miss each other terribly!
So - car update for y'all - since I know everyone is just DYING to know :rotfl2:
Apparently the fuel injector needed to be programed? Has ANYONE ever heard of such a thing? Because even our mechanic hadn't.
So - now it's all been done. . . but the car won't be picked up until tomorrow because I need to go to my friend's house as soon as DH gets home...
Andrea - I hope the water system problems aren't crazy! What are they exactly? You know, i do know quite a few people in the home repair business in RI and I'd be happy to help you where I can :) I do need to help take care of that house I'm going to buy one day you know ;)
Our couch is large enough that bullet proof glass is not a huge issue. At the dinner table the kids sit separated and at the bar we sometimes have to separate them. They don't share a bedroom wall because the foyer is two stories. But the car .... I read ahead and saw you already shared the same thoughts.
How do you make your bias tape? Do you have a bias tape maker or do you have one of those little things you feed fabric through and iron it? I am thinking about getting one of those cheap little things.
Lisa - I agree completely! Maybe we should start drafting prototypes while we are all together this summer? Possibly even a version for in the car??? :woohoo:
Sound proof sounds like a fab idea as well. I think we should market these! We could all retire early and spend our free time sewing.
So it sounds like no major $$$ added to the car bill. Hope this does the trick.
Aquascience services our water system since they installed it. The tenant think the resin needs to replaced again :confused3 He says the water has an odor to it. We just had a new well pump put in and that was a ridiculous expense we didn't need. Hopefully it's a less than $500 bill b/c I'm tired of all these "surprises" over $1K each.
Our tenants move out in June and dh has possible renters lined up for 6 months in August. But you are welcome to go over anytime and mow or do yard work, paint, etc! It's like you will be investing in your future ;)
Sounds like a plan... My oldest dd is very loud too - she is an on or off girl - never any in between, so I know exactly what you are talking about.
I think it's hilarious when people tell me that they can't wait to see my stuff - because I always think "neither can I" LOL I always get so anxious to see if it will turn out the way I envision it to be or not.
I already commented in your PTR, but I love how the outfits turned out - you did a great job! :lovestruc
Thanks Diane. :) My girls are the same way... but they rarely miss eachother when they are apart - they actually enjoy the glorious silence waaay more than I think they should (so do I - LOL).
I have not heard of the fuel injector needing to be programmed. I know we had a fuel injection problem with the Taurus a few years ago (still glad we got rid of that car, it was such a money pit)... I can't remember what the exact issue was, but I think we ended up replacing the fuel injector. I do recall that it stalled out on Josh a couple of times on his way to work - so it's possible we were having the same issue... I will try to remember to ask him later.
I hope you had a good day yesterday. :hug:
OK - I suppose you are going to make me go dig up the link... Hopefully I saved it... All I know is that the way I do it now is much easier than the way I used to do it... ACK... OK after a few minutes of searching through my links, I've found it... I love this method because I am a tightwad and this allows me to make a lot of bias tape with out having to buy another gadget. Creative Little Daisy bias tape tutorial I hope you get good results... My only annoyance is that visually, I must have the edges meet in the exact center, and as you are pulling the fabric through, it tends to edge one direction or the other, so I am constantly having to get the center perfect.
Yep, now we're talking!
Sound proof sounds like a fab idea as well. I think we should market these! We could all retire early and spend our free time sewing.
Yes, this is exactly my thought, as well.
I sure hope the bill is cheaper this time.
I was planning to sew all day, and hopefully finish my bag today.... Not. I totally forgot the girls are off of school today for conferences. So, I have to drive into town later and go do that... Oh well, I will get milk and friday night pizzas too. Because of that 2-3 hour break, I don't think I will finish the bag today. Hopefully tomorrow.
:eek: Today is 39 days until we leave!!!! :eek:
I hope everyone has a great day today! :wizard:
We're off to pick up the car this morning. . .again. After we have two cars again I'll take Finn and go run errands while he takes Phalen home to work on the garage. D~ yesterday was a little better... P and I walked the mile to the shopping center down the road (sidewalks all the way) and had kids meals at Salsarita's as a special treat. He had to do Times Tables for me while we had lunch though (and he did 0, 1, 2, & 3!) after I'd explained the basics the day before about multiplication and then explained "Times Tables" while we were walking.
I'm still at a loss on what to do about my "issue" I was telling you about . . . I know i need to repair the bridge, but I don't know what to do or if I should be the only one trying. :confused3
I'm off to hunt for a 2'x3' bookcase today - Goodwill, etc. . . I need it to fit into a very specific place for our homeschool stuff . . . I tried to repurpose some other furniture we have, but nothing will fit where I need it to :sad2:
good luck with the bookcase hunt!
today I have pilates class and plan on scrapping all day!
got Megan a cell phone last night - ONLY for emergencies, her test phone to see if she can be responsible and trustworthy of not calling her friends on it! wish her luck :thumbsup2
UGH D~ -- your quote disappeared. Dis just hates me. Ah, no matter, it's my ptr anyway. I did want to thank you for the bias tape link. I know Joann's sells the little contraptions to help you do it by hand and I mean to grab one sometime with a coupon. I'll try this method first though.
Our current renter is at the War college right now. He took over dh's position of the only active command up there and then stayed for War College. Hmmm, dh tried to stay for War College and they wouldn't let him:rolleyes: Nope, instead he got stuck doing a second XO tour on a ship and getting deployed for 7 months. I'm not one bit bitter about that :rolleyes1
Our potential renter is someone's wife of a guy dh works with. She has a little girl and just had twins and has a nanny so she's looking for a house for a 6 months stay. Better than leaving it empty, though I'd rather sell first! Our realtor said most people that do look don't want to pay NK taxes so they go look in Charlestown. So you said next time you were up you'd happily remulch the whole yard at cost? You are so kind. Since this is my ptr I'll post a link so you can see waht you are eventually buying (mind you we had it decorated cuter and they didn't take a pic of our basement bathroom which has the most beutiful sink in the world):
http://www.vrguild.net/c/star.pl?U=1110311435316862&Z=1
Hopefully that works -- if it doesn't I'll forward you the proper link.
So when your dh is done cleaning the garage does he want to come over and clean our garage? You can use my embroidery machine while he cleans:)
Good luck finding your bookcase. I never have luck when I'm looking for something. And I always have better success price wise at yard sales, so I can't wait until the spring when they start up again (though soccer games often interfere!).
Believe me, I hate renting but it's better than leaving the house empty and paying the utilities along with the mortgage. We are renting at a fairly significant loss as well (which benefits us come tax time, but longevity wise does us no good).
Have fun at pilates and scrapping. I so need to start scraping again -- I am sooooooo behind (9 years to be exact!).
TIME FOR MY VENT:
OK, for those who don't follow along on the Disbout thread, ds is having a sleepover birthday party on Saturday. I let him invite the four boys from the 4th grade and one friend from his school last year. It is a camping themed sleepover and I am giving each boy a flashlight (a nice one -- not a cheapie $1 one) and am embroidering each a t-shirt. I have 4 t-shirts embroidered so far. 1 boy is not able to come, 2 boys rsvp'd positive, and two have not rsvp'd even though yesterday was the date (I had to go buy the flashlights today). So I am pretty ticked -- I bought flashlights for them as if they are coming and will return them if they don't but I don't want to embroider another shirt unnecessarily. I *think* one boy is coming as I talked to his mom last week and she *sounded* as if he would, though never said for sure. I asked ds to ask the boy in class today to see if he was coming so I think I will hold off on doing that shirt until tonight. I just needed to vent though.
And one other thing, I have a backyard scavenger hunt planned and it's raining today. Rain was expected this morning -- but it's not raining, it's POURING and windy and water is even all over our screened in porch. It's supposed to be fine tomorrow and Sunday, but I think our yard might be muddy :( They are sleeping inside -- just wanted to do the scavenger hunt outside and still will -- but if it's too muddy I'll have to do that Sunday morning instead of at sundown with flashlights like I wanted to. And now I'll have soggy dog poop to go clean up too!
OK, vent over. Thought it would make me feel better venting but it really hasn't.
we barely covered our mtg and took a loss every year too with all the extras...its now my FIL problem :thumbsup2 he paid off the mtg and got a great deal from me, just happy its out of my hair !
hope you'll get it sold soon :goodvibes
I hate when people don't rsvp...I'd call and bug them so you can get the final count! hope the weather will cooperate, sounds like a fun party you have planned for your little man!
easy for me to scrap, my only hobby!
WOOHOO!
Are you packed yet?
LOL - actually, I was going to take a picture of my luggage for you yesterday, and it totally slipped my mind. I will try to do it today or tomorrow. :thumbsup2
Next time I'm home I'm happy to drive by and take a look for you Do you ever get renters from the War College?
We're off to pick up the car this morning. . .again. After DH makes pancakes for breakfast (Fridays are like our weekend when DH is off. . . pancakes, lots of errands, house projects - he has to clean out the garage today :woohoo: ). After we have two cars again I'll take Finn and go run errands while he takes Phalen home to work on the garage. I'm having a Scentsy party here tonight so I have to pick up a few things for that .... I really want a Scentsy warmer but we don't have extra money for stuff like that . . . so hosting a party it is!
It sounds like you were planning a crazy day yesterday - I hope everything went well for you. :lovestruc
D~ yesterday was a little better... P and I walked the mile to the shopping center down the road (sidewalks all the way) and had kids meals at Salsarita's as a special treat. He had to do Times Tables for me while we had lunch though (and he did 0, 1, 2, & 3!) after I'd explained the basics the day before about multiplication and then explained "Times Tables" while we were walking.
I'm still at a loss on what to do about my "issue" I was telling you about . . . I know i need to repair the bridge, but I don't know what to do or if I should be the only one trying. :confused3
I definately think you shouldn't be the only one trying... :hug:
I'm off to hunt for a 2'x3' bookcase today - Goodwill, etc. . . I need it to fit into a very specific place for our homeschool stuff . . . I tried to repurpose some other furniture we have, but nothing will fit where I need it to :sad2:
Oooh - I hope you found what you needed. :surfweb:
popcorn::
I supposed you are planning on sitting between the girls on the flight for your sanity :eek: they will probably end up being best of friends when they are all grown up :goodvibes
Why, yes, actually this is the plan. :confused3 I am also thinking a glass of wine and some heavy meds will do the trick? :rolleyes1
today I have pilates class and plan on scrapping all day!
got Megan a cell phone last night - ONLY for emergencies, her test phone to see if she can be responsible and trustworthy of not calling her friends on it! wish her luck :thumbsup2
I hope you had fun scrapping yesterday. :lovestruc
We made that mistake with the phones... It wasn't until an incident back in November that resulted in the phones first being taken away and used as a grounding tool (each girl had theirs taken away for different reasons) - but it wasn't until last week that they both got them back - with major restrictions. We are on Tmobile, so I am able to go online and block all numbers (except 911) - with the ability to allow up to 10... Of course, 5 of those #s are our immediate family. So, the girls are only allowed to have 5 friends that they can call/text. I know that sounds really harsh - I trust my girls completely, but I do not trust some of their "friends". I like it this way much better, because for a while there the girls (especially Allison) were so wrapped up in their social media that we rarely saw them. Now, they can text a few friends - but they are still part of this family.
UGH D~ -- your quote disappeared. Dis just hates me. Ah, no matter, it's my ptr anyway. I did want to thank you for the bias tape link. I know Joann's sells the little contraptions to help you do it by hand and I mean to grab one sometime with a coupon. I'll try this method first though.
I would try this method first... I've been able to make due with out having another thing to buy. :lovestruc
Our current renter is at the War college right now. He took over dh's position of the only active command up there and then stayed for War College. Hmmm, dh tried to stay for War College and they wouldn't let him:rolleyes: Nope, instead he got stuck doing a second XO tour on a ship and getting deployed for 7 months. I'm not one bit bitter about that :rolleyes1
Our potential renter is someone's wife of a guy dh works with. She has a little girl and just had twins and has a nanny so she's looking for a house for a 6 months stay. Better than leaving it empty, though I'd rather sell first! Our realtor said most people that do look don't want to pay NK taxes so they go look in Charlestown. So you said next time you were up you'd happily remulch the whole yard at cost? You are so kind. Since this is my ptr I'll post a link so you can see waht you are eventually buying (mind you we had it decorated cuter and they didn't take a pic of our basement bathroom which has the most beutiful sink in the world):
http://www.vrguild.net/c/star.pl?U=1110311435316862&Z=1
Hopefully that works -- if it doesn't I'll forward you the proper link.
So when your dh is done cleaning the garage does he want to come over and clean our garage? You can use my embroidery machine while he cleans:)
Good luck finding your bookcase. I never have luck when I'm looking for something. And I always have better success price wise at yard sales, so I can't wait until the spring when they start up again (though soccer games often interfere!).
Believe me, I hate renting but it's better than leaving the house empty and paying the utilities along with the mortgage. We are renting at a fairly significant loss as well (which benefits us come tax time, but longevity wise does us no good).
Have fun at pilates and scrapping. I so need to start scraping again -- I am sooooooo behind (9 years to be exact!).
I Hope the party went well and it stopped raining... It sounds like an awesome party. I miss those days... :rolleyes1 I would wait on doing the shirt, as well - no need to go through all the extra work for no reason - especially when there is that much time involved.
I spent the day working on my next bag, it is nearly complete. I plan to finish it up this morning and post pictures. I am debating if I should add a slip in pocket to the back of it, or not. I will have to look at my fabric again to see if I have enough to do that + enough to line a zip wallet to match...
I also went to conferences yesterday... Allison is doing very well in all of her classes. Victoria is struggling in 2 of them... :confused3 We go through this every year and it's so frustrating... One of these years she will realize that it's important to do your work and turn it it on time... :headache: She is a lot like me in that aspect, so she probably won't realize how important it is until she has kids of her own and has to beat her head on a wall... :eek:
Trip outfit planning ramblings ahead!
After I finish my bag this morning, I am meeting up with my BFF for a shopping trip to JoAnn's. I need to get a couple yards of fabric for V's Icecream dress, which is on my list to complete this week... I have to totally redraft the pattern though. I also really want to make her my doll version of the Goofy outfit - but I don't think that will happen - unless I can find a black button up shirt I can reconstruct - because I really don't want to make an entire shirt... We might swing into Kohl's today - and if they have something cheap that will work, I might give it a whirl - I also want to look for the shirts Marianne used for our pixie dust - I like those waaaay better than the ones I got at Target, and I'd rather use them if I can find them. :lovestruc
I still haven't decided if I am doing an AK bag or not... I've been wearing the zebra shoes for the last few days, and despite the fact they are getting more comfortable - I am still not sure if they will make great park touring shoes? I will probably wear them again today - and try harder to break them in.
Oh, and I almost forgot... I found a pair of shorts on clearance for $2.95 the other day... They are my favorite brand (and a hair too tight :rolleyes1)... But they were weirdly made. I know that sounds strange, but you know, when you buy shorts and they are hemmed, how they are usually worn on the edge of that hem? Well, these looked like they were hemmed as an afterthought, and when I tried them on, that hem just seemed weird and bulky. So, I seam ripped that hem yesterday, and sure enough - they looked like they were a pair of jeans the manufacturer cut off and made into shorts - once I ironed the creases out of them, they just looked like a pair of cut offs. Anyways, I think these will be the shorts I add Marianne's blue squares that she sent me??? Since I got them so cheap, I don't have any heartbreaks doctoring them up... I am just not sure which pattern I should do the squares in though???
OK - enough rambling this morning...
Worst case scenario if he shows up I'll whip up another shirt or give him ds's shirt (though I fear ds will want his on at the time of the party). I also made dd a shirt but hers is size smaller than the boys. So it will hopefully just be my ds and 3 friends for the sleepover which should be tolerable (though i think I will still premedicate with excedrin!).
I hope you got some scrapping done. I really enjoy doing it. I just don't make the time to do it. I have oodles of paper and odds and ends I pick up all the time -- I must set some goals even if my goal is only two pages a week.
You can see my reply to Lisa -- one child definitely coming one no clue. I am throwing the t's in the wash and not making another. The party is tonight. All the puddles in the yard are gone but it's still damp/muddy in spots. I think it should dry out decently today though as I think it will be sunny and around 60. It was nicer yesterday -- it got up to 67.
I would add the pocket to the bag if you can. IMO, you can never have too many pockets. I always add extra pockets to totes and purses.
What is the ice cream dress? I don't recall reading about that one before.
Good find on the shorts! They sound like the perfect pair to embellish.
My day has no sewing :( Just have to make a few signs to put outside for the camp and wash the shirts. Straighten the house a bit (the kids' rooms are the only ones that really need cleaning -- I did all the bathrooms yesterday) and steam clean the tile downstairs (which ds may want to do for $$). I also need to bathe the stinky dogs. And then make the cake. I am undecided if I want to make the cake now or wait until the kids get here and have them make it. I'll ask my ds what he wants to do. Chances are he will want ot help me mix it today and then I'll decorate it cute -- if the boys decorate it it will be more haphazard. I am making a tent with graham crackers and frosting and then a campground setting with a fire and lake on the cake so it should be pretty simple to do (I hope!).
Hi Rhonda!! :) Glad to see you back again. :lovestruc First of all - if you see us at WDW, please say hello... I would love to meet you and your dd! :wizard: Absolutely!
So, has your dd made herself (or you) anything fun for your trip? IF not, there's still time. :lovestruc She's making our Fish Extender for the cruise :love:, although with her insane schedule I am worried about it getting finished. She goes to school from 8 to 3:30, gymnastics from 4 to 7:30, in addition to gymnastics she is playing in a short rec basketball league two days a week right now so has also has basketball practice at 7:30, plus Gym team practice on Sat mornings for 3 hours and basketball games in the afternoon, then church and Awanas on Sundays.
Do you know which parks you'll be in on which days yet? The original plan was: Arrive on 10th, enjoy POFQ, ride to Downtown Disney on the boat, dinner at O'Hana at 6:30, watch MK fireworks from Poly beach, call it a night. March 11th-MK all day. We love the morning welcome show so try to get there for that then ride as much as can. Go to resort during middle of day. Come back to MK for 9:00 parade (view from front of park). Race over to Cali Grill for a 9:40 dinner ADR. Originally the Park hours said that this day had evening EMH and we looove the late night EMH at MK, but now it has disappeared off the Disney site's park hours :confused3. March 12th--Merissa decided on DHS. We will go early for rope drop, leave in afternoon to go over to Boardwalk, Beach club area because we have a 5:00 ADR at Cape May Cafe, come back for Fantasmic. On Tuesday 13th we leave for the cruise! But now she is buggin me to hit all four parks in our two park days. We have two days left over on our military salute tickets from last trip, plus two WPFM entries, so I plan to use those and save our 2 day FD package tickets for another trip. I could add the park hopper option to those tickets for about $38 each. And I do hate to miss the displays at EPCOT for Flower and Garden. But I want to make sure we still have time to enjoy POFQ (it's our first time staying there) and that we are not completely exhausted when we get to the cruise lol! Just not sure I am up to all that running around. I made a lunch ADR at Tusker House on the 11th just in case. UGHHH decisions, decisions!!
D...I pinned your bias tape making so I can remember it for later.
Marianne glad the car wasn't too expensive. My engine light when on last week but luckily it wasn't anything too serious.
:worship: Love your house. :love: We looked in NK at a few houses and even fell in love with one off of FrenchTown Rd that had 2 acres of land but the thought of having a huge mortgage scared us. If I told you how much we paid for our house you would be shocked.We bought in 1997 just before the housing market went crazy and with a refi on a 15yr mortgage we will be done in 7 more years.
:headache: I can totally relate. When we had DD's bday when she was in Kindergarten I made all shirts (iron on ones as this was pre-sewing) and some parents did not call so I didn't know if I should make them or not. One of the parents I had DH call as he knew him growing up but the other never called and didn't show up:confused3
better yet....medicate the girls, then you can really enjoy your wine :yay::rotfl::rotfl:
so are so good....if she does well with how we have it set up when she turns 13 next year I will add her to my phone plan....if not it won't be until she's 14!!!! you are not being harsh at all, I'm being tough too!!! we only want to protect them
I would try this method first... I've been able to make due with out having another thing to buy. :lovestruc
