sewing machines

I know that this has nothing to do with Disney (besides me wanting to make my baby some disney style dresses) BUT, I don't know which sewing machine to get. I haven't sewn in over 20 years, so I will say I am a beginner. I would like to have a machine about $150 that I can make clothes and quilt with. Any suggestions?? Linda
