Hope for a safe and ON TIME return trip home!!!
Thanks Mo!
I feel your pain. Delayed and cancelled planes were my story yesterday.
Hope it comes when scheduled now.
Have a wonderful day.
So glad Miss C made it home - I love that picture you posted on FB of her - she sure has grown up over the years.
There is nothing worse than getting up super early when you don't have to! Hope your dad makes it in enought time for you to get Alli to work on time.
Have a safe trip home!
Still in love with V's Rapunzel ensemble! If it were mine, I'd be bouncing off the walls with excitement, although, like someone else mentioned, I wouldn't have the guts to pull off the headpiece
Hahaha... Yah - we could have slept a few more hours - and we would have enjoyed it. But it all turned out OK
Thanks! I know the headpieces look large, and they are - but when everyone around you is walking around with ears, the headpieces blend right in, but get a lot of attention, because everyone wants one.

I will be wearing all of my headpieces proudly.
I am loving all the bags you're completing. Cannot wait to see the outfits & bags "in action" at WDW!
3 hour delay on Dad's train:
Thanks! Me too! I am very excited!
Yah - it wasn't fun waiting for him, but it was great to see him!
What a maginificent bag, and the head piece.... GORGEOUS! The light up is so fantastic! Glow with the Show ears? Pshhhh...NOTHING compared to that head piece!
So glad your dad made it home safely, and that big smile on his face just says it all!
Yes - I am so excited for her to wear this one, it's gorgeous! I hope she only lights it up at night and when she meets Rapunzel though, I don't want her to wear out the battery before the end of the trip.
Me too... It was great to see him and his smile!
Glad he is home, safe and sound. Bummer about having to be up so early and then the train be that late. Hopefully, you can get back in time to take Ali to work.
Single digits!
Me too... I was so worried. But I am convinced there will be a few more train trips in his future - it was easy peasy and a straight shot, he never had to transfer trains or cars anywhere - and that was so nice. I am hoping he can take another trip out next summer - maybe not staying as long - but he had such a good time.
Yes - we are jumping up and down here, barely containing ourselves.
Thanks! Me too!
Yeah! Glad he's safe and sound at home!
Love, love, love Victoria's headpiece! That's amazing! And I love that bag, too! Tangled has got to be one of the best Disney movies!
And.........
SINGLE DIGITS!
Woohoo!!!
Now if I was just down to single digits ... LOL
Thanks - very happy to have him home too!
Thanks! Love her whole Rapunzel set - I hope she lets me steal it someday.
Yes! We are soooo excited!
Oh my...I am IN LOVE with the Tigger Bag.
And the Rapunzel bag too!
But especially the Tigger bag since he is my favorite.
I'm so glad Dad safely arrived home. Loved seeing his smiling face on your FB update.
I'm not sure of your exact departure date, but if I don't get back here before you go (we are going to Dubuque to see the kids), I hope you and the girls and your BF have a marvelous trip.
Thanks Kathy! I know Tigger is your favorite.

Maybe Olivia will let you borrow it when our trip is over?
Thanks! I am happy to have him home too - and so relieved that he had a good trip.
Thanks! I hope you have a great trip to see the kids!
so happy your dad is home safe and sound. He is just adorable.
Thanks! I love him - he is a great dad!
I love the Rapunzel bag, and that hairpiece is amazing! I'm glad your dad is home safe! I'm sure I know the answer judging by the smiles in the pictures you posted the other day from his trip, but did he have a good time? What did he think of the train ride? Hurray for single-digits!
Thanks! Yah- I love all of our head gear - Jennifer is amazing!
Yes, he had a great time! He was able to see lots of family, lots of wildlife, and lots of sights. I hope he can take another trip out there next summer.
Glad your dad is back home. It looks like he had a real adventure visiting his brother in Washington. They both look so happy in those pictures.
V. new bag is a work of art and her headband is amazing.
Yay for single digits! Your trip is almost here.
Liz
Thanks Liz! He had a great time!
Thank you - I had fun making the bag, and she cannot wait to wear the headpiece.
I know... Which means it's almost over...
I have gotten pretty far behind over the last few weeks but just wanted to stop by and say . You dad looks looks like such a sweetheart! Check out that smile!
No worries... I keep meaning to get over to your TR - but I need to figure out which one is the most current? LOL It's on my list for today and tomorrow.
Thanks! I love him - he is a great dad! I am very lucky!
Glad your dad made it home safe!! UGH for the 3 hour delay!! But that's nothing compared to the 15 hour delay my mom had one trip when she came to see us. They had a freight train derail in front of them.
Yeah for single digits!!
Thanks! YIKES!! That is scary! Thankfully no derailment - but the freight trains carrying oil out of ND take priority - so they were stuck in Fargo for 3 hours yesterday waiting on the oil trains.

Why they can't sneak a dinky passenger train in between them all is beyond me... Oh well, just happy to have him home safe n' sound.
Yes - we are getting super excited!
It is such a shame that he doesn't smile! LOL!
I LOVE seeing that big grin on his face! Ear to ear! You can tell he had a great time!
Nini
Hahaha... Yah - he has a great smile! He is a great dad - I am very lucky!
**********************************************************
Sooo... Yesterday...
You all saw that my Dad made it home, safe and sound... Such a relief to me, as I have been so nervous about this train trip home for weeks. He had the same "cabin guy"... LOL Not sure what their official name is? The guy who takes care of him on the train - turns down his bed and such... Anyways, Derek rode with him all the way from WA - And I heard so much about Derek when my Dad called me - I was happy to be able to meet him when my dad got off the train - and thank him in person for taking such good care of him.

Derek is acutally pictured above... So, if any of you are ever riding Amtrak and see Derek - treat him well.
Dad was hungry after getting off the train... so V and I took him out for breakfast... After just having an enormous breakfast ourselves - V and I just had coffee. I have to say, I NEVER let my girls drink coffee - but it was V's job to keep me awake yesterday, so caffeine was our friend.
We brought my dad home, and got him settled... Then we were on the road ourselves.
We stopped at the Eddie Bauer outlet store... BFF wanted me to get a couple of backpacks that fold down into a little pouch - but they have real backpack straps...
http://www.eddiebauer.com/product/r...ckpacks&previousPage=GNAV&tab=gear&dcolor=309 They are acutally pretty cool - I debated on getting one for myself. But then I got to thinking... I carry my bags - we have done several trips with out the need for a backpack - and who wants something hot on their back in Aug anyways?

So, I left it behind. They are really cool though.
As I was checking out - I saw these though... And I did get one for the water parks...
http://www.eddiebauer.com/product/t...og10002_en__US?showProducts=&backToCat=Travel Accessories&previousPage=LNAV&tab=gear&dcolor=300 Pretty excited about this though, it will also be great for KRR.
As a side note... I also purchased myself a pair of shorts at EB... In a size 10!

The smallest size I have ever purchased in my adult life! Now, they are a bit tight - no muffin top or anything, but the button on the front is definitely stressed... So, I don't think I will be wearing them for a few weeks - especially if I come home from our trip with some extra vacation weight. But I was very excited!
Anyways... On the road again...
Josh called when we were in the north metro - asking if we were stopping at his work for lunch... Uh- no... But we can... So we did. We had lunch... Well, I should say, Josh and V had lunch - I was still full from breakfast and the bazillion cups of coffee I had.
We got home and I had to take Alli directly to work.
Grabbed a Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner... I had leftovers.
Hung out on my tablet for a while and went to bed. I was so tired from all that traveling.
Today... I have nothing on my agenda.

I've been a little out of sorts lately - I am not used ot having nothing on my agenda. It's weird and I don't know what to do with myself.
I am going to work out this morning.
If the sun is out - I am going to throw on my suit and try to work on this neglected tan - I am hoping not to burn too badly in FL.
Alli has a Dr. appt this afternooon...
When that's done, I plan to hit Target to get the last of my GCs for souviniers... I have a few things on my souvinier bucket list this trip... Things that may surprise you and things that may not.
Also hitting the grocery store to get some veggies... Our garden isn't quite ready, and I've been kind of crabby this last week with out veggies.
I may go clean my sewing room too... I should anyways. It's a disaster after months and months of overtime. Don't want to come back to a mess.
May work on a few MB covers too...
Oh and I put the dots back on my MB!

Very happy about that! I was missing my dots after I took them off. This time, no base coat (didn't do a base coat last time either), I used acrylic paint (same as last time), then I did 2 very LIGHT mists of the same sealer I used last time (vs. 7-8 layers)... and it looks great! Ran it under the faucet last night and rubbed it like crazy... Everything stayed on. So, this makes me happy! Now I have my dots!
Ok, better run! So I can just sit here all day and try to figure out what to do with myself.
Have a wonderful day everyone! Prayers and good thoughts to all!
D~
