Finally- some appreciation!

Karen, I was quite impressed with your meet skills! I would have never doubted you. Nope, not me.

I knew you wouldn't doubt.... you're just not like that!

Actually, to be REALLY HONEST.... I kinda doubted it myself....(well- I didn't doubt me.... I just doubted the CM 's that I spoke to about it) that's why I went there personally in January and spoke to a real live person about it AND called and spoke to someone else as well AND why I went there an hour and a half before everyone else to warn them about the big group that was coming!


I guess now though that people will begin to question themselves FIRST before they even dare to question the Queen!?!?!? Huh?????

I called ESPN trying to get an answer about a cake and each time I got a different answer and they were quite loopy. It was driving me nuts!

Karen was your husband with you (but at the hotel) or a friend or who were you traveling with?

I had a friend with me at the resort. I invited her to come to the meet- and she didn't want to, and I felt bad about leaving her in the room. If my DH was there, he would've come with me and we could've spent the whole evening with you guys. You would like Jim- he's about the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Same here- I feel like I really didn't get to meet too many of our group. I would've LOVED to spend the whole day with you all..... I was feeling so guilty about that!

So today I had a sad day. My beloved "Mickey as a Leprechaun" antenna topper...which I got on my first "adult" Disney trip in 2004...met it's demise. His hat fell off. So now he's a Mickey head with a beard. RIP my good pal!!! I'm shocked you've last 5 New England winters and more surprised that you've last 5 years in Boston without someone stealing you!!!

lol. How true! I'm sorry you lost your antenna topper. Great report, looks like you had a great time! I finally updated my TR. You need to stop doing reports as your making me look like a huge slacker! I wouldn't have minded if you called me either...I remember you! We definitely should meet in OOB this summer since it's so close to me. Also, congrats on booking a trip in October! We were dead against going anywhere this year and planned on going on "vacation" to my parents lake house as we're trying to pay off our bills by next spring. But after starting to listen to podcasts again and getting on the DIS again we're now thinking about going for F&W! Ahh...never fails. You just can't NOT go to Disney! I was hoping we'd be going at the same time as you again, but I doubt it. Who knows, maybe willpower will kick in and we'll wait until next year. Anyways, feel free to call me anytime you'd like. Yeah, we would probably go at the end of sept./beginning of oct. But we probably won't go at all . I am tagging along on DBF's business trip to San Francisco at the end of April so it's a mini vacay for me!

Yay for starting the house hunt! It's such a great time to buy. I wish we could house hunt but we'd never be able to sell our house right now. There's been two houses for sale across the street for almost a year now and the development is only 7 years old! And I totally understand the non-adult mentality. You only live once! I just keep thinking that after the bills (including car payments) are paid off next year we'll have all kinds of money to vacation with! One more year, one more year.... I can't wait to hear what you guys are planning on doing this trip! Let me know when the pre-trippie starts. I'm going to try to stay connected to the DIS again.

Kristine - just catching up here on the end of the report! I love all of the pics of the meet! I saw some of mine in there! It was great meeting you and Stacey IRL too! I am in for 2010...too bad I will miss you by a few days in the fall. So did you find out why the camera was showing those reflections in the sky?

I'm bummed we are going to miss you! I would love to meet your girls.

I still haven't figured out the camera thing. I should probably try to learn SOMETHING about my camera and then I would know!
