Sew Much Fun...13 of Cinderella's Mice head to WDW! (update 3/10 page 23)

Yes it was...but don't worry. I had SUCH a close runner up ;)

The jeweler called and despite my VM saying "you've reached Randy & Kristine" left the message that "your ring is completed and ready for pick up"

Yup, right up there with proposing at the castle ;) :rotfl:

Seriously? How demented is that jeweler? :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Well...... I think this is still better then my proposal of walking into the mall, my boyfriend (now DH) and him pointing at the jewelry store and saying, and I quote.... "Wanna go in there??"

Yesssirrreeee. Doesn't get much more romantic then that!!

Of course, that hopeless romantic and I will be celebrating our 29th anniversary this Friday. Who knows...............maybe I'll get the proposal of my dreams then??

Randy's bought all my jewelry from this particular jeweler and we've never let them forget it! The call came a week before Vday...not a big shocker after that!

Yup you have me beat! Hold out for the 30th. Surely he'll get you something good for that ;)

ohh, I can win the not-so-great proposal stories. I was folding laundry on the floor watching Friends. XH sat down by me and said "wanna get married?" ohhh exciting!

BUT you were watching a great show so that's gives you bonus points!

I think I win for best proposal! Lin just wasn't into the asking me part of it it seems. I had to say over and over and over so are we ever gonna get married. And he finally bought me a ring for christmas and put it on the edge of the stocking hanger but never once asked me! And THAT ring got returned! SORRY! but something that I am going to have the rest of my life is going to be a bit nicer! Really, it was super cheap. He said he couldn't afford anything more. PLEASE!

Okay, so for the record here is a picture of dinner.

I am being a bit lazy though so you'll have to copy and paste it to see it right. You can almost see Kristine's whatever you ordered.

Lin never ever drinks. I just consider it as he doesn't drink but of course every time we are with people (about 2x a year) he'll decide to have a drink. He got one at ESPN before sitting down. He said the guys were all having a drink too but he neglected to pay attention that the drink was a soda! Then he had one at Sea World. So, he had as many drinks on that vacation as he has all year!

BTW as a general warning: If anyone ever meets Aisling- all your children were the nice kids I met on my business trip to Disney!!! She was really confused why there was kids there but she wasn't! I told her I met them along the way! ;)
 Poor Aisling!!! Deep down you musta wished you had taken her along, right?

Don't let her ask mine: they will insist that they are quite abused!

I had a drink with dinner. Why not? I wasn't driving! (Don't tell Teresa!)

I also usually have a drink or two before I meet new people because I am quite anxious about it. Thankfully, the Disboutiquers are not really "new."
:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

You returned your engagement ring???? Yup you win!!!

Randy has to buy me a new one in 3 short years...that was the deal. My diamond is small because it has sentimental value and Randy broke when we got engaged :rotfl: . My diamond is the diamond his dad gave his mom when they got engaged. His dad was killed in an accident when Randy was 2 and his mother remarried so she saved the diamond for Randy. He had it re-set into white gold for me so he only had to pay for the setting and my wedding band (which had 7 diamonds in it but that doesn't count!!!). I told him on our 10th anniversary he had to buy me a 3 stone ring and I'll use my original diamond IN the ring but it's going to have to have a big stone in the middle ;) That's fair right???? :rotfl2:

Not at all!!! I really wanted to see what it was like to go with just the girls. It was soo much fun but I did miss her (although Stacy and I did get out of buying one of those puppets that all the kids scammed out of their parents ;) ) I felt a little guilty meeting the Fairies w/o her.

Hey that's how my Dh proposed! He walked into the mall jewelry store and to the bridal case and said "Do you see one you like?" never asked me just bought it and handed it to me, he didn't even take the box out of the bag.

LOVE the pic!!! It turned out so cute!
That diner was fun wasn't it?

Neurotic planning???? SOUNDS LIKE FUN TO ME!

I am going to have to give DF a MAJOR hug today for the wonderful engagement after reading all of your crazy stories. But celebrating 29 years of marriage has to say something, congratulations on that karebear1! :lovestruc

Really! You would have returned it too! All he did was walk into the mall and go in the first jewelry store he saw and bought it. It was like maybe $300! Yep, $300! I pretty much paid for my own ring too!

That is totally fair. I think that is a super sweet story about Randy and the ring. I don't think I'll ever be able to get a new ring. I Just love mine. It isn't big or anything but it is mine. I can always change my mind though, right! And since I took back the first it doesn't count as he picked it out or anything.

You should give him an extra hug. He done good!!! ;) :rotfl: Apparently few men do well in that department. A lot of my friends got really good proposals so I've been teasing Randy for 9 years! Apparently my friends just got really lucky with creative men!

$300...ya i would have returned it ;)

And don't worry, Randy is now pointing out that I can have a HOUSE or a new ring. I'm probably not getting a new ring either :sad2:

I just finished reading this entire TR, between last night and today off and on with some interuptions from my kids...don't they know I"m busy? LOL!!:lmao: Love your TR, can't wait to read more!!:thumbsup2

I am very behind in posting!

Love the Wishes photos and the cool photo of the mirror on the safari bus!

I am so glad I am not the only obsessive photo taker though you got more artsy shots that I did. I am sure not holding a autograph book, pressed penny book, princess wand, dd's hand, etc. makes it a bit easier to get those shots. :lmao:

I can't believe you guys got done at Kona and to Wishes with time to spare - very impressive!

I picked out my own ring too but my DH did do a very nice official proposal. It was actually very wise of him to let me pick since I have pretty much returned most things he's bought me over the years.

Looking forward to the next update!
