Several questions about Disney Character outlets

I’ve been to both in Orlando several times because I usually drive an drop the kids off at Typhoon Lagoon for several hours and the one close to Disney Springs is convenient. I was surprised that there is a cottage industry of people regularly shopping there and posting on YouTube video of them walking through the stores. I’ll be staying on site just before Halloween for 6 days and plan on taking an Uber over to the closer one while the kids are swimming. How important is it to get to the outlet store as close to when they open as possible? I’ve heard that it is re-stocked daily. I’d probably go by at 2 but could get there earlier if there was a good chance of the popular items being bought earlier. Also, I saw that the outlet stores were carrying a lot of Halloween merchandise in the last week, which seems counterproductive to Disney selling Halloween merchandise at WDW stores. Is this normal for Disney to dump merchandise in season? Since I’ll be going a couple of days before Halloween, they may have sold out of their Halloween merchandise by then at the outlet stores but would they be selling last years Christmas merchandise by then?

Personally, I try to be there when the shops open. I was able to find a $45 polo shirt for 0.99. When I have gone later in the day, the best deals have already been snatched up by the people who resell things. Not sure about the Halloween items, but when it comes to them dumping current items, it does happen. This past June, I got a giant plush Stitch for $29.99 when they had the exact same one in the parks at the same time for $69.99.

Its crazy busy in the those stores all the time, If you are just looking to shop for some deals for your own use then I don't think you have to be there by a certain time. I have picked up beach towels for 5.00 dollars, backpacks for 5.00, and lots of costumes for the grand-kids to play in for under 20.00. I did grab some ornaments for between .99 cent and 2.99, some for my tree, but I did use some on the stocking for the kids, and grand-kids, and I even added them in a couple of the Christmas baskets that I made for gifts. I never was there at opening... don't stress over it just go and shop and enjoy your time.
