You can register your kids online on the Disney site. Then when you get to the ship you just have to verify identities and leave them there They will give you a pager that they'll use to contact you if you're wanted/needed. They will also use it to remind you to pick up the kids at night

They will have a schedule of age appropriate activities for the kids. They take them to meals and shows also . You just pick and choose the times you want to leave them there.

I don't know if their is a limit to the number of kids that they'll take. There are podcasts of the clubs on the DCL website if you want to see some of the activities.

Welcome to all the new members! It shouldn't be too long now until we meet! I can't believe I booked this trip so long ago and I now it is almost here!!

For those of you who know your flight schedule and seats -- did you book through Disney? I keep checking the site and nothing is posted for me! I am about to email my TA I just want to know the details as my son is nervous about the flight and I need to prepare him!

I called Disney Tuesday and they emailed it. They were available as of 5/22. Do it ASAP. One of my flights did not have seat assignments and I called Delta immediately and we got seats, but all over the place. Good luck.

My family from Newark got routed through Frankfort - big surprise, as there are direct flights from Newark and JFK.

Our boys have enjoyed the time they've spent at the Oceaneers Club and Lab. If you check out Castawayclub.com or http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-stateroom-navigator.htm,
you can see some of the navigators from past cruises and the children's club activities offered. Hopefully as soon as the Med cruises start up this week, Disboard members will scan and post some of their navigators and we'll hear about the kids club activities. The DCL agent I spoke with a couple of months ago said that they are going to have dozens of new activities in the OC and OL and gear them towards the countries/ports we will visit.

On our past cruises, we've pre-registered our boys online. When we got to the DCL terminal and checked in at Port Canaveral, we went over to the area near the snack shop that they had to obtain the wrist bands for the clubs. Basically, it has the children's name and age group on it. We also received our pager. When you check kids in and out of the club/lab, the cast members look at their wrist bands and will ask the family password and stateroom number while looking at their computer screen (if they aren't at the sports deck, etc.) They then squirt soap in the children's hands and have them wash them at the sinks before they join their groups. If they are at an activity out of the club/lab, they have the information on a clip board. I imagine that at the port in Barcelona they will have a registration/wrist band area set up.

We have let our boys pick and choose what activities they'd like to attend after going over the navigators each day. There were a couple of nights that they've begged us not to leave, but we wanted them to eat dinner with us. We have let them eat lunch with their groups. I really think Disney cast members in the club/lab do a great job keeping the kids happy and entertained.

I called Disney Tuesday and they emailed it. They were available as of 5/22. Do it ASAP. One of my flights did not have seat assignments and I called Delta immediately and we got seats, but all over the place. Good luck.

My family from Newark got routed through Frankfort - big surprise, as there are direct flights from Newark and JFK.

Flying through Atlanta on Delta 7/6. None of the eight of us have seats together, including my three kids in carseats. Those of you on that flight, please take pity on us.

My TA called and I now have my flights. We leave Baltimore on the 6 on Us Airways to Philadelphi then from there to Barcelona. The Baltimore from Philly is a puddle jumper and we sit together. We did not have seat assignments but my TA called and I have one but my son doesn't. She said once we check in in Baltimore they can assign my son and since I already have one they will sit us together. Since his is nervous about this my TA felt that we shouldn't have a problem. This should be interesting! She even got the information on my flights from Barcelona to Paris. Again no confirmed seats but these are short so it doesn't matter and besides he should be a world traveler by then.

Our boys have enjoyed the time they've spent at the Oceaneers Club and Lab. If you check out Castawayclub.com or http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-stateroom-navigator.htm,
you can see some of the navigators from past cruises and the children's club activities offered. Hopefully as soon as the Med cruises start up this week, Disboard members will scan and post some of their navigators and we'll hear about the kids club activities. The DCL agent I spoke with a couple of months ago said that they are going to have dozens of new activities in the OC and OL and gear them towards the countries/ports we will visit.

On our past cruises, we've pre-registered our boys online. When we got to the DCL terminal and checked in at Port Canaveral, we went over to the area near the snack shop that they had to obtain the wrist bands for the clubs. Basically, it has the children's name and age group on it. We also received our pager. When you check kids in and out of the club/lab, the cast members look at their wrist bands and will ask the family password and stateroom number while looking at their computer screen (if they aren't at the sports deck, etc.) They then squirt soap in the children's hands and have them wash them at the sinks before they join their groups. If they are at an activity out of the club/lab, they have the information on a clip board. I imagine that at the port in Barcelona they will have a registration/wrist band area set up.

We have let our boys pick and choose what activities they'd like to attend after going over the navigators each day. There were a couple of nights that they've begged us not to leave, but we wanted them to eat dinner with us. We have let them eat lunch with their groups. I really think Disney cast members in the club/lab do a great job keeping the kids happy and entertained.

Thank you for the great information, can't wait to meet everyone. We now have 9 family members in this trip. 3 Families.
