We just finished lunch at DTD, going back to the room to rest. That's what these two days are for. They replaced the Mission Tortilla Factory with a Ghirardelli's, so we'll go there later.

Oh, is this open now? I was so hoping that this would be open in time for our trip, but it was not to be. Still, this gives me an added excuse to go back next year.

Who knew 3 days of Jury Duty would be so emotionally exhausting? Thank goodness it's over. The deliberations yesterday afternoon were so emotional and gut-wrenching. (and yes, there were tears.)

Well done for finishing your jury duty already. I have at least 3 weeks to do and they have already warned us that it may overrun.

The hard part, and what we really wrestled with, was we had to acquit someone who had done something wrong (we all knew it in our hearts), but the State's case didn't prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" - and like I told my fellow jurors "that really sucks".

Most of us talked to the attorneys outside the courtroom after the trial -- I hope the Prosecutor really heard what we had to say.

I am sorry you had to do that. But it is nice to hear that you did your job as hard and gut wrenching as it was. Hopefully, the Prosecutor heard you and learned from it.

Yeah, it was scheduled originally for March, but we postponed it, we have an online music store that has been tanking since the economy took a dive. We have so much inventory we were hoping we could move it before we had to just give it away, but now we're going to have to shut down the store, let the employees go, and donate the inventory. We can't continue to clam a loss on our taxes now that the IRS has caught on. It's going to be tough but losing this much money every year has got to stop. It's just sad because the employees have become like family, and what are we going to do with all this music?

Hi KOOK, when are you going to AKL/Kidani? If it's after me, I could check it out for you. We'll be there mid/late Aug. Have to admit I'm another who doesn't go to the gym at WDW. Don't want to get up earlier and by the time I've walked all day at the parks, I just want to swim or relax!

I'm in the midst of a total revamp of the summer trip that's been booked since November. DD has a camp that's going to be the week we were to leave. Looks like I'll be moving the trip up a week to mid-August, but I need to know now about the Smith Machine. It's not a deal breaker, but would placate DH and make him a happier bench-pressing camper. We've never stayed at a DVC villa, and DH has never stayed at AKL, so I need to hype this up a bit more than say, WL/CL which is his FAVORITE.

Actually, I just noticed yesterday that Kidani has its own gym, I thought we'd have to go over to AKL, which he said was not a problem. So having another gym to choose from there is the icing (and bacon) on The King cupcake...

My class recitals are done. I have my Senior Recital on Sunday evening and then I am DONE done. Until June 25th, anyway. And I have paperwork that needs to be done. And Spring housecleaning. But I have no teaching until June 25th!!
