We're taking my in-laws for their first time Dec 3-15. We're booked in a 2BDR at BWV. so I was debating over whether the move would unnecessarily stress my MIL out. I was also concerned that we'd have to split to two regular rooms because no 2BDR Savannah views available this late. (I don't usually pay for an upgraded view but I'm not going to AKV for a view of the parking lots. )

But DH decided we should go for it, so I called to modify the reservation - and the CM shocked me with a 2BDR Savannah View. I must've asked her a dozen times if she was sure it was Savannah. But it is and we're going. We'll be there Dec 11-15. Can't wait!

How exciting! I think you will love Kidani! I know I did. I"ve been having the same debate as well. I am taking my mom, dad, sister, and brother next October. I know they want to stay at AKL, but I don't know what building. I'm leaning more towards kidani, since I stayed in Jambo last month for 2 nights with my girlfriends before our cruise and we are staying at Jambo in December when I take my brother and sister.

That sounds wonderful. We did that with my parents only we started off at the THV. We had a dedicated 2BR and the space was huge for four of us. It worked out really well. I can't wait to book my next trip at the end of June!

Oh, I'm so glad! You were on the Wonder weren't you? I'm really looking forward to our trip on the Wonder and hoping that all the healing is done by then. Your TR was one of the ones that got me so excited about taking a MR cruise. I really enjoyed your last TR, and I'm glad you'll take it slowly. I'm reading so many TRs that I keep getting far behind on all of them. I feel pressured to catch up.

I'm thinking of starting a PTR for my cruise since I don't have much else to say for my Fall WDW trip. I planned it all once, so planning it again hasn't been all that exciting.

Yes, we were on he Wonder and our next two cruises will be on the Wonder as well. I need to update my tickers.

I did get my December vacation approved, and am very excited to see OKW. Any tips would be welcome, I can't find a dedicated thread for it.

I must ask, were you able to book the cruises you wanted onboard?

We booked two of them. They only let us book two cruises. I still have not given up on a November cruise, but will look into this nearer the time.

I will have to run some errands in a minute, but I will put some info about OKW together either later today or tomorrow.

Thank you Linda I couldn't get near the HH, so I'm thinking I'll just take what I can get unless one area is not so good, but I can't imagine that would be the case.

We love the Old Turtle Pond Road area. We got a room in this area on our first stay and have requested this area ever since. They have the biggest of the quiet pools there with a pool bar. It is only open during busier times, but December should be OK for this.

I just heard from Laura. I thought I would share this with all her AKL friends.

"Marco is well - his last check-up by the neurologist was perfect , I am very relieved.
My visus is a bit better , while colangitis isn't any better , though I am under treatment since 3 weeks.
I manage to go to school and teach , but feel tired and so down.
Dad is home , now we have Mom with a walking problem with the left leg ...
To be honest , I often think of my friends on AKL thread , but do not feel like writing : I have so little time and so much going on ...

But , if you wish , feel free to ask for positive thoughts and prayers for us on the thread : I'd really appreciate."

While we were waiting for our room to be ready at Grand Californian, I had a look in the gift store and came across this beauty:

This is part of the new Dooney and Bourke Disneyland Retro collection, which was released May 12th. I had never been able to find an iPad case that I liked so I was all over this. Now my iPad has a very stylish home.

When I went exploring at Downtown Disney, I discovered this beauty. It was released for the inaugural Tinkerbell Half Marathon and they had some returns. I was in two minds about this as it is really a bit big for my taste, but it actually makes the perfect work bag.

Kathy - Thanks for the update on Laura and Marco. Poor things. And thanks for checking up on Bob and me and our DDs. We are all fine. Both girls have been traveling and are now home. Bob and I are doing our daily "thing" and happy to be able to do it!!
