I've never ridden Slinky Dog (skipped it), but agree that 7DMT isn't worth the hype or spending very long in line. It's just a basic, run of the mill mine train that nearly every amusement park has with the exception of like 20 seconds when going past the scene.

I have never ridden Slinky (I would rather skip than wait 2+ hours in the direct sunlight) but I guess I would say 7DMT. Truthfully I don't think either one are worth the stress and hassle required in order to ride them. I agree with others in that BTM, Splash and Space are way better rides. I think Everest is the best and most fun coaster at WDW but even then the coasters are Universal are WAY better in my opinion.

Bonus points for 7DMT for the indoor portion but I don't love the screen projected faces (same issue I have with Frozen).

Slinky is a more thrilling ride for sure but the 7DMT dark ride portion is cool. I like them both equally. I agree with PP that both Splash and BTM are better. I don't like WDW Space Mountain. It literally hurts my neck and back.
Agree Splash and BTM are better than 7DMT. Also agree about WDW Space Mountain. Prefer the DL version, with the smoother but still fast and thrilling ride and the side-by-side seating (and music).

I like them both and I'd be hard pressed to really say I like one more than the other, but having to choose, I'd say 7dmt only because it's ride time is longer than slinky, the individual train car movement and the dark ride portion. I like slinky for more thrill and the second launch- but I'm going to dock some points on the fact that slinky is the least shady part of DHS and is so so short.

I love them both. But they're so short that I can't justify a crazy wait time, so I only go if I can get FastPass (or Lightning Lane or whatever it is now haha).

As kiddie coasters, they're equally fun to me, so I didn't vote. I don't consider them to be in the same class as the other coasters.

7DMT and Small World are the best rides in any park any place in the world. Unmatched perfection.

Love both of them! Slinky is probably the more fun ride experience, but 7DMT is so cool in the mine and you can see Snow in her cottage at the end of the ride.

Slinky Dog is a better coaster, and it's especially good to ride at night, with Toy Story Land lit up.

7DMT is probably a better overall ride because while the coaster itself isn't particularly thrilling, the dark ride portion is very well done.

As someone who is not a big roller coaster person, I voted 7DMT. Slinky Dog does sometimes make me a bit nauseous but 7DMT is probably the smoothest roller coaster I have ever ridden and has never made me queasy in the slightest. Also I love the mine scene part and animatronics.

Slinky Dog for me, it's faster, longer, easier to get in and out of the carriages and looks great at night.
7DMT is however the smoothest roller coaster I've ridden and is much better themed.

I won't pay OOP for either but I can easily get on 7DMT if I do rope drop at early entry. I love the theming of it so it's fun for me.
I did slinky dog once.
