Seven Dwarfs Mine Train okay for those who usually skip roller coasters?

Sorry if this was asked before; I couldn't find anything using the search function. Anyway, my mom and I aren't exactly roller coaster people but are still interested in the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since we are fans of the movie that inspired it and of course Snow White's [Scary] Adventures is long gone. How rough is the ride? How high on the "thrill scale" (again, keeping mind that in our case the higher the "thrill factor" the less interested we are in a ride)? Should we just admire it from afar and hope to maybe catch Snow White wherever she meets guests/the Dwarfs during MNSSHP?

It's actually one of the smoothest roller coasters I've ever been on. I think it'd be fine for you. There aren't any big drops, the ride itself is very smooth and surprisingly quiet for a roller coaster, and it's got a decent bit of speed going on. It's much less intense than Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.

It's a small coaster, I enjoy the amount of detail and care that they put into the ride. My 5 year old really enjoyed it, so I think the "thrill" level should be tolerable. I think Barnstormer/Goofy's Coaster is a rougher ride, thrill level about the same. Check out some of the youtube videos of 7DMT, such as this one:

i think it will be fine! my husband doesn't do coasters at all and i'm getting him on this one. i wouldn't ask him to go on it if i thought it would bother him. have a great time!!

My wife does NOT do coasters at all but she did do the mine train at the request of our daughter and she actually enjoyed it.

My husband gets motion sickness. He cannot do Space Mountain, RnR or Everest. He does Big Thunder, and had no problem with Mine Train. He said it was much smoother than Big Thunder.

I don't do well with roller coasters. I can do Splash Mountain, scared to try Big Thunder Mountain (but I will in June), have done Space Mountain and won't do it anymore (too jerky), won't do RnR or Everest. I love this one. Rode it twice last trip.

I don't like coasters much, but I enjoy 7DMT and BTMRR. I'll agree with earlier posters that 7DMT is the smoothest coaster I've been on.

My 72 year old mother does it and loves it. For comparison, she will do Splash Mountain but in the past tried Space and Big Thunder one time each, and would not do those again.

My DH does not do thrill rides at all and he really liked this one. I didn't tell him that it even had the word "coaster" in its name to get him on it the first time and he actually enjoyed it and made sure we were going to ride it again this year.

Now I'm wondering if I can do it. I hate coasters. Nothing fast for me or that slings me around, since I get vertigo and motion sickness. The most daring thing I've ridden is Splash, and I can take it because I cover my eyes and duck during the end drop  and because it doesn't have alot of fast turns-it's just a few drops, I know wierd but I can do it.
