Settlement allowing segways at WDW and case both dismissed

A Federal Court Judge has thrown out both the lawsuit to force Disney to allow Segways as well as the tentative settlement. Here is a report which has just been published.

So not only has the tentative agreement (which DRAFT hates) been thrown out, but so has the entire case. Basically the judge said that (1) the plaintiffs lacked standing to sue, and (2) that just because they would prefer to use Segways, the fact that wheelchairs and ECVs are allowed is sufficient for compliance by Disney with the ADA.
 
I'm surprised this thread hasn't been bombarded yet. I'll wait. popcorn::
 

Huzzah! I love it when a judge actually does his job and throws out a frivolous lawsuit.
 
So there is actually logic left in the judicial system? And here I lost all hope.

Except the original link was from October 6. The link I posted is from November 4 and it includes information about a Motion To Reconsider submitted on October 30, so these are different.
